I have my block for under $80 a night which is a great price considering we are downtown. They have a 8 passanger Yukon they can drive you around town and are in the process of getting a 15 passanger also. They will take you with-in 5 miles of the hotel and to Winter Park. The views are amazing. I could go on forever about how impressed I was with this place!!

ohh and ps they have a pretty awesome roof-top pool :-)

So, my maid of honor sent me an evite to my bachelorette party. It basically just says the time and date and says that we will be eating dinner somewhere and going to a party hot spot and everything is a surprise for me so don't tell. But, then it says in small letters underneath that each person is responsible for their own food and beverage, etc. Does this mean I'm paying for myself at the party? Because it's one thing if they can't afford to pay for me but if that is true.... I kind of want say in where we go and what we do if I have to pay for myself. I don't really want to be surprised with something I have to pay for.

However, about a month ago, she asked me how much I drink when I go out and I said usually about two drinks and she said "oh good because Bridesmaid A and I were a little worried about paying for your drinks but it should be ok as long as you don't drink a lot". So, maybe she meant that for the other bridesmaids have to pay for themselves and not for me? I kind of want to ask but I can't really think of a polite way to ask her about this. I don't want to sound rude or greedy. I've talked to her recently and she asked me if I got the email and I said yes but she didn't say anything else. What would you guys do?

The photographs that she captured of my special day are not only beautiful, but tell the story of our special day and our love for each other. I don't know how she did it, because I never saw her doing it, but she caught the most amazing, intimate shots of my husband and I before, during, and after the ceremony. Her prices are very reasonable, she pays immaculate attention to detail, and she is a true sweetheart! I not only will cherish my wedding photos forever, but have made a new friend in Jenny! Thanks, Jenny, so much.... we LOVE our wedding photos, and can't wait to see our album!

I'm getting married in Winter Park one year from today... I thought this was supposed to be one of the most dry times of the year for FL, but I just looked at the weather to test that theory and it's predicting rain all week?! Is this normal? I grew up in Orlando but haven't lived there for years so I didn't know what to expect but everyone kept telling me April is almost guaranteed good weather so I went ahead and booked an outdoor ceremony AND reception- now I have a year of worrying ahead of me! :(

Please tell me this is a weird fluke?

So I'll TRY to make this brief... but no promises, lol. FI's parents are divorced & both remarried. His step-mom is one of those go-getter planner types & I believe has already booked a huge 9 bedroom house for her whole family to stay in during the wedding weekend. She mentioned to us planning to have the rehearsal dinner there also, which 11 months out from our wedding we didn't think much of. However after talking to FI's mom about it we realized that would be a BAD idea. The two families do not get along & there's no way she would feel comfortable or show up if the rehearsal dinner was at his dad & step-mom's rented house. (Which, I wouldn't blame her for. That's a little too personal.) Both his mom & step-mom are eager to help, but it's difficult because they both live out of town. I suggested that FI just explain the situation to his dad & step-mom but he said no way, they wouldn't take it well. (Don't ask me why... I figured it's the adult thing to do, but I guess not. hah.) So we want to propose to them OUR idea for a rehearsal dinner. We were thinking about doing something sentimental (Like having it at Downtown Disney outside the restaurant he proposed at) but how can we do this without sounding demanding & ungrateful for his step-mom's offer to host the dinner? I don't want it to come across as couplezillay (like my word?) of us to say "Thanks but no thanks, your plans aren't good enough." But I guess honesty isn't an option here. Can we just plan it ourselves & then accept any financial contributions from them if they offer? Although we can't really afford it ourselves & I'm not about to ask my family to contribute anymore then they already are. *sigh* What to do... what to do?
