Affordable BM dresses?

OK ladies, I am going to look at bridesmaid dresses next week with my girls. One lives in Douglasville, the other in Marietta. They are both on a very tight budget right now - one just bought a house, the other just changed apartments, so I want to go somewhere that has good prices for them (hoping to keep it under $100). We are meeting after work, so I need somewhere that is open late (we should be getting there around 6ish).

Any suggestions for affordable BM dresses in Marietta/Smyrna or Douglasville??

We can definitely go to David's Bridal, and I have heard of New Natalies, but I don't know how either of their selection or (most importantly) prices are for BM dresses.

We got the quote for the men's attire from Bridal Sense, and it seems really high ($177). That includes shoes, but still. My FI's would be free, but we don't want to ask the men to pay that much.

Wooden Table Rentals (NON-FOLDING TYPE)

I am really wanting to use nice wooden tables with four wooden legs in my reception. The only types I have come across at rental companies are the folding type that you have to cover fully with a table cloth to make look nice.

I have seen pictures and dreamt about Fair Weather Farms in Monroe, GA, but I can't seem to get in touch or find ANY information about it! I really feel that it could be the perfect venue for us, but I really just need their contact information. It's a working farm, and I have the farms number, but no one has called me back, and I think it is the farm number and not the wedding number, if that makes sense.

Hi ladies,

I'm from California, but I have a job interview in Augusta, GA in late July, so I need some fashion advice. I've been told that the weather will be unbearably hot during that time, so I shouldn't use my tried-and-true lightweight wool business suit or (and I quote) I'll die. What do professional women wear in the summertime?

It's for a professorship position, so it needs to be a suit. I've been looking at linen suits, but they wrinkle so easily, and most of the ones I'm seeing are lighter colored. I was always told that traditional job interviewers need to wear black, navy or charcoal, and my suit collection reflects that other than a medium brown tweed suit that I fear is too casual.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

p.s. Along the same line, I'm attending an evening wedding in Atlanta in July. It's indoor, so would it be okay to wear a silk dress, or should I look for a lighter fabric?
p.p.s. Please feel free to invade the CA-Bay Area board if any of you plans on traveling over here! I know a lot about the local restaurants and hotels. :)

Help me Choose a Florist

So I have met with 5 florists for our wedding in November. I have narrowed it down to 3. I would appreciate any thoughts or feedback on these 3. I was trying to stay around $1500 for the flowers and they all came in anywhere from 1800 - 2400. I am doing only red roses and we are reusing the ceremony arrangements on the buffet, the pomanders balls that will hang from the chairs and bridemaids bouquets as the centerpieces. There will be no additional reception flowers other than red rose petals on each table and votives my venue or we provide if I need more than the venue has.

So we have already sent out our save the dates for our October 30 wedding... but that is not my fear.
Back story- we have a close group of friends and we are pretty much all getting married this year and to make sure that we dont all have the same thing we shared a few ideas with eachother.... and ALL agreed that if we copied eachother we should ask first- and still make sure that the ideas were not too similar... Well one couple just moved in pretty much down the street, and we share a ton of ideas together. I even showed her the proof to the save the date (2 months ago) and then sent them out 3 weeks ago! Now I designed this magnet from scratch and had it made!
Well we get back in town this weekend and we recieved their save the date... the wedding is 3 weeks before ours- even though they get engaged months after us!
THEY ARE THE EXACT SAME!!!!! SHE LIED to my face about how she was just using simple card stock and everything! NOW everyone in our group has TWO of the same save the dates on their fridge....
I am thinking of confronting her about this because right now lets be honest I want to rip her apart...
Please share your thoughts on if I should confront her or not!
