Well, I got my last insert done by the best!!! Medusia (Katie) is just wonderful. She was kind enough to make them for me and they look great! FI loved them!!
I hope she starts her business soon and I encourage everyone here that haven't done the paper things, really talk to her. I am sure she will do a great job as always.
More to come soon and I'll post a pic of her job.

My father passed away a few years ago and has a very special place in my heart. My mother has not remarried and is paying for our wedding. I hadn't thought much about it but I am not at all excited about the wording 'the late father of the bride'.....

I am wondering if this is wording is acceptable:

Cake Disaster

My fiance has a severe milk allergy. He can't have any milk, butter, etc...

To keep tradition, we plan on offering a small cake for our guests and families, but we are in desperate need of ideas on what else to serve.

I'm much more a cook than a baker, and am totally at a loss as to what we can feed each other in lieu of the traditional wedding cake.

Sorry ladies, but crossing the Atlantic and dealing with the time zone changes is very exhausting, so no iron for while, but...I will show a dress pic anyways.
My dress is a Fabio Gritti design (he is very famous in Italy), and as I've said before is not a traditional wedding gown. The pic here is in the original red color, but mine is a sort of pearl/goldish color (perfect for my 50 y.o.) and this is not me of course...but you can have an idea of it. As you may have noticed, I am into what is called "haute couture". Now I am wondering if it is not too daring for me!!! : (

I am back home...with a brand new wedding gown!!!

Hi there,

Surprise, surprise!!! I went to Italy due to a family emergency (turned out very good) , I had a great time seeing my family, having great time together along with my friends, eating the best food and ended up bring in my luggage not only my favors (beautiful Venetian masks), butalso a brand new wedding dress (I am not really wearing a traditional gown, but my dress is just spectacular)!!! Am I blessed or what???
It's good to be back!!!

I am using The Knot's webpage for our guests to RSVP on but it wont allow guests to submit their name without them adding their email address.....this includes children. Obviously children do not have email addresses so how can I change this? or am i just screwed?! If it were just children it wouldn't be so bad but some of the elderly guests do not have email addresses either. help me please!!!

I don't want to make anyone jealous, but am in Italy!!! I came here for a family emergency, but thanks Jesus everything is OK now. So I am here, having some good time (so sorry FI couldn't come - I am enjoying for him..haha), buying my favors in person (not paying handling and shipping), enjoying incredible dinners and watching the prime minister scandal (so sad, but so funn as well!).
I hope you all are doing great, kepping up with the wedding planning. Will be back Friday ( yeah, great times don't last that long right?)

Ok, I've decided that we are going to have the dinner at FI's parents house, it's where we are having the ceremony so, it makes the most sense to me. I've decided to do a baseball theme, it's one of FI's favorite sports and I like it too. I guess my question is, is that ok? I mean, i know that it's my rh dinner and I'd rather have it be a more relaxed feel but, is it ok? Also, we are going to make custom shirts for us. I'll have my maiden name with a 9 and he will have his with a 23 (9/23 is our wedding date). Also, who do you invite? all of the wedding party and their SI and parents/grandparents but, do you also invite oot guests?

So I just got done registering. However I read that it's rude to put anything about your registry in the invitations. but my registry sites say that you can have registry announcements printed off. So, I was wondering what you guys thought?
