I'm thinking I can probably do it myself. Does anyone know of any good album design sites - maybe they have used before that they could recommend? Just wondering if anyone else second guess their wedding dress, is this normal?? i bought my dress the very first day I went out to look. I "knew" it was the dress from the reaction from my mom, sis, and grandmother but most of all i didn't want to take it off. I didn't cry but I could not stop smiling.

My dress came in 2 weeks ago and when it's on I like it but now looking at the pictures of myself in the dress I don't know about it. When I look at other dresses, I feel that I still like mine better. I originally wanted a form fitting simple dress but purchased a gown.

So here's the problem with the dress: I have the Maggie Sottero Victoriana gown, it has caught up accents. When I had the dress on, the dress was so flat and the caught up accents just looked messy and sloppy. With no help from where I purchased the dress from, I had to google my problem and found brides with similar problems with the dress. They recommended to buy a big ball gown slip. I found one at david's bridal (they helped me sooooo much there). My dress is no longer flat, it does have the poof but the caught up accents are still messy looking. Does anyone think that this could be fixed with alterations? I have an appt with sheryl at the end of February. I am just really stressing about this bc this is the only thing that is making me not like my dress. I only have four months left and I don't know if I should purchase another dress.

I went to the new Alfred Angelo in Glen Burnie on Friday and I found my dress! I went in with a few pictures of things I wanted to try on, but the consultant actually found this based on what I had liked/not liked about other dresses. Check it out here:

I love how simple and elegant it is - perfect for a summer wedding. Plus I love that I can go all out with jewelry without it looking too over the top. Hi Ladies!!

You have all given me such great advice in the past and i am wondering if any of you no a good hair stylest that is not going to break the bank. I am having a casual outdoor wedding and i am going for a simple look. (see Jenna Bush)

I live in NYC so I am not to familiar with the area. My future sister inlaw gose to a place in montgomery mall and I do not want to go to the mall on my wedding day! My hotel is in gaithersburg and the wedding is in potomac to i am looking for a place in that area or someone who will come to my hotel.

any suggestions?? Any advice on who to avoid??

Post-Wedding Dress Preservation

We're getting married in Baltimore (but live in Seattle!) on 3/20.

I'm looking for a place in the general area that I can preserve the dress, and have them send it to me in Seattle (even if it's not included in the original cost).

Here's the problem: we're flying back to Seattle on Sunday, 3/21. Are any of these places open on Sundays??

The next two big things that are on my list to do is to get the flowers and the limo taken care of. For flowers I think I'm just going to go with my local florist, however for limo's I'm not really sure who to use.

We don't want to spend a ton of money on the limo, but we want to get a company who is good. I figured I'd ask you girls if you have any recommendations. TIA!

Hi! I'm a Chicago knottie who recently moved to Baltimore. We will be doing our invites from here and are considering DIY them. I'm not sure if our home printer can do it though. Does anyone have any experience with any printing companies in the area? Or have any recommendations for local companies to check out for invitations if we don't think we can DIY.

I met with Colleen (devine designs) on Saturday. I really like her. I am waiting for her to send me the contract. We are def. going to use her!!!

She asked me how I heard about her and I don't know why I just didn't say the knot... but i said other brides recommended you but one girl's bouquet just won me over and she asked who. Your name slipped my mind and I almost said "smange." - LOL!!!!! I told her that I couldn't think of your name but the bouquet had dogtags and she said "ANDREA!" I was like yes, that is it! lol! I am very excited to work with her.

So this past weekend we booked our DJ. FI's brother got married a year ago so we went with his DJ since he did a very good job at his wedding. We are going with Absolute Entertainment.

And I know awhile ago I said I was going with Tender Images, however I still couldn't get over Jen Lowe, we met with her last night and I'm 99% sure we are going with her! I just need to accept the fact that this is my one splurge for the wedding!
