Marriage License - Who Signs in Anne Arundel County?

My FI and I are getting married in Annapolis next year. Who signs the marriage license in Anne Arundel county? Is it just the officiant? Or is it the officiant and a witness (or two)? Or, is Anne Arundel county one of the rare places where the couple actually signs? Just curious ...

I wanted to post something about a relatively new SouthCentral PA/Northern MD caterer that I booked for my wedding (just yesterday!). The name of the company is Cuisine 360 and the chef (and owner) is Marty Qually. (Those of you in Northern MD may have been referred to him at his old place of employment, the Carriage House in Emmitsburg).

I luckily found him on The Knot after some major searching and wanted to continue spreading the word about his new business. Hi everyone,
I am newly married and I just wanted to share my delight on the cake I had at my wedding. I chose With Love Cakery to make my cake, because not only is Denise (the owner/artist) easy to work with and extremely professional, but she is also brand new to Maryland, plus everything she makes is from scratch. She took the time to drive out to my home to discuss the details of the cake, and then kept in touch with me through the entire process. When I called with a slight change to my cake, she was so understanding. She created for me a 4 teir, fondant covered cake resembling my dress. The cake itself was White Velvet with a lemon cream on one layer and a chocolate raspberry mousse on another. The cake itself was gorgeous, but the taste was out of this world! So, if you are looking for a cake vendor who is affordable, easy to work with, and bakes a killer cake, then Denise is your lady. Also one side note, she is working on becoming an organic baker. beautiful white manzanita branches for sale. they are already set in plaster in tall white glass vases. the flowers you see on them can be easily removed (they are wired on with floral wire). the branches can also easily be spray painted a different colour if white doesn't work for your theme.

will sell with the hanging crystals if you are interested in those too. we have 4 to sell (we did a combination of high/low arrangements on our tables). would be perfect as centerpieces or could also be used to decorate a church or guestbook table.

Budget venues in Eastern shore

My FI and I are looking for venues in the mid-DE area/Eastern shore of MD (between Chesapeake City down through Cambridge). We are looking for historic house/inn/plantation or historic church that won't break our budget ($3400 for ceremony/reception venue + food). We expect about 70-80 guests. Any ideas? Desire waterfront site for budget wedding

I just recently got engaged less than a month ago and my fiancé and I are seeking a waterfront (Chesapeake Bayfront) wedding but at a reasonable price. We hope to work our whole event for under $10k but all the waterfront sites I've found start at over $20k! We are living in Chicago but I'm originally from MD and would love to get married by the Bay, probably on the Western shore but other options are being considered too! It's been helpful to read older posts for ideas but we still haven't found success in terms of our price range. Since we're not currently in MD it's even harder!

I am wondering how many people, who are not planning to or did not get married at venues who provided coordinators, hired someone for the wedding day to take care of a lot of the details and provide direction during the event?
