Can anyone recommend a GREAT hair and/or make-up person? I am planning to wear my hair up... so I need someone good at up-do's. Also, I am looking for someone to travel to my parent's home. My bridal party may also be having hair/makeup services (I have 7 bridemaids), so an assistant or multiple people may be necessary.

Ok, so a while back I posted something about trying Advocare. I hesitated because I think stuff like that can be kind of a scam. Anyways, my bridesmaid's mother sells is (i've known this family for YEARS) and she pretty much talked me into paying $80 to sell it. I do get $50 of product so I guess that's a good thing. I LOVE the "Spark" drink so much. I have not had a soda in 4 days (which is SO weird for me). But other than that, I am terrified to try this Herbal Cleanse thing. I have a pair of jeans I want to fit into for our engagement photos on the 11th, and everyone keeps saying the Herbal Cleanse will allow me to drop weight fast, but I don't know how safe it is. With this 10 day cleanse, you literally eat fruits and veggies and chicken (that's it) and drink nasty powder stuff and take SEVEN pills a day. I have to wonder if you lose weight because you are literally eating fruits and veggies. Yeah, if I cut out soda, chips, and cookies I am sure I will lose a few pounds. So, do any of you have experience with this stuff? I also am not a fan of how HUGE the pills are... like horse pills. I can barely take a Tylenol! I want to continue taking Spark because I feel it has kicked my soda habit, but I don't know about popping pills all the time. Plus it's SO expensive. Sorry... I am rambling. LOL Just wanted your opinions :)

I'm kind of upset because I tried on a 10 and they told me I should order a size up because my dress could have been stretched out due to frequently being tried on. When I got the 12 in I was swimming in it. I'm afraid that I have to get it altered down too much because I've lost a little weight since then. I'm a little nervous about the whole process since they will literally be cutting my dress! Any tips, hints or suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)

I am very recently engaged and am trying to get a move on locking a venue down. I have a question regarding Smith Brothers. I saw some other posts but none that addressed this.

I am not concerned about it being split levels at The Loft- but what do you do about the first dances, etc? Is it a little awkward to ask everyone to come downtairs to the dance floor?

Has anyone been to a wedding there or are planning yours there? Idea on Industrial loft venue
October wedding but blue black and white are our colors, Should they change?
Everyone in the party is wearing all star converse to match the blue :) so what kind of attire should they wear? formal,laid back?
