"Real Mens Shave" in Lancaster?

I'd like to find out more information and treat my FI to a shave on our wedding day for some real pampering, so I'm hoping you lovely ladies can help me. I read an article somewhere that there is a barber shop in Lancaster city that does the old fashioned "real" shave for men. Does anyone know which shop this is? I read it a while ago but cannot remember where it is or what it is called. TIA!!!!

I know that Stone Mill Inn books multiple events on Saturdays -- has anyone had any issues with the staff being able to transition from one event to the next? Also, there seem to be some concerns with the catering since they only work with 3 caterers (I couldn't find any information -- price or menu -- for Unique Presentations online...?). Does anyone have any feedback on how their food actually turned out?

We had DJ Blake. He was awesome....met with us several times to discuss song selection, etc. He definitely kept people dancing until the end of the reception and even busted a few moves himself :-) They are reasonably priced as well.

Officiant for York Wedding

Ok so i'm a little upset. I always thought growing up that the pastor at my church (lutheran church) would marry me when the time came. Well now that it has I was given a list of guidelines that much be followed and completed in order for the pastor to marry me. One big one I disagree with and honestly can't afford is My FI and I must go see a license family phycologist and provide proof of 5 visits plus have 3 sessions with the pastor. Anyway, the going to a proffesional is not in the budget and is not happening so now i need to find an officiant for my wedding.

I was given a few names, Rob Green, Jo Rousey and Kay Woods. Does anyone know anything about these people? Or does anyone have any suggestions of someone to us? We really want something simple, short in length.

Im a 10/16 bride! Ahh!! and now we are trying to make the decision.. outside or inside. We really REALLy had our hearts set on having it outside- and all of our guests know its outside.. but if its going to be terribly uncomfortable obviously Im not doing that... So... how cold is too cold?

Bartender?

Our wedding venue doesn't have a liquor license so we need to provide the beer/alcohol. At this point, we think we are only having beer to make it easier and less expensive. The only problem is the venue will have nothing to do with it. They won't set it up, hand it out, or clean it up. I am looking for someone to do all of that. Especially the handing it out and making sure everything is refilled. Do you know where I could hire a "bartender" that won't break the bank? I don't want ourselves, family or friends to take on this responsibility.

The other thing is there are a few underage guest and to help with that I was thinking about giving each guest over 21 tickets. Is that too cheesy?

Hi!! I am looking for some advice concerning venues in the Philly suburb of Reading, and I am hoping that someone on this board could help! My fiance and I are considering the Reading Public Museum arboretum for our outdoor ceremony, and the reception at the Goggleworks (whose prices seem to be too good to be true!!) Has anyone attended an event at either of these venues?? How was the experience? Thanks!!

My fiance and I just got engaged, but we're not very familiar with wedding venues in Central PA (we would prefer Lancaster, York, or Hershey). We would like to get married in fall 2011. We are looking for a venue that is affordable, but one that also has charm. I'm not a big fan of the typical reception hall - I would prefer something with a bit more character. Something with an outdoorsy area (even if it's just for cocktails) would be best.

I looked at Riverdale Manor, but it's mostly booked for next fall already; I've also looked into Cork Factory Hotel, Foxchase Golf Club, and Stone Mill Inn. Any ideas on other venues we should consider?

Help! I'm city, he's country. We booked Pheasant Run Bed & Breakfast for May 2011. He would like country picnic style food, i.e. whole hog, pulled pork. I'm okay with that as long as it still feels chic. Does anyone know any good caterers in the Lancaster area to help fill both our needs?
