Does anyone have any suggestions of restaurants in the Hershey/Harrisburg area for a rehearsal dinner?? I live and work in the DC area and have no idea where we should go. Any suggestions are appreciated!!

B-Pics and Printing

I really want to get B-pics done prior to the wedding....and my photographer can do them....but I don't want to spend the major $$$ to get a fancy album done. Anyone know where I could get prints done, or a book made? I usually use shutterfly to get prints and get the flush books done, but I can't find info on their image policy (since these wont be nudies or anything which are banned). I know some places (like walmart) aren't too happy with printing pictures that are a tad risky.

If anyone knows, it would be greatly appreciated!

I'm from Michigan and my fiance is from Northumberland, PA. We're looking for ceremony and reception sites in Harrisburg or around that area since most guests traveling for our wedding will be staying there and looking for places that can hold around 200 to 250 guests comfortably. Haven't set an exact budget yet but nothing to expensive so any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

Fi and I are having an october evening wedding, with accomanying bonfire during the reception. We have multiple musician friends, so the music will be ipod/impromptu music by them.. we're really going for a casual, fun evening because were there to CELEBRATE! :-)

however my menu... lackluster. my caterer is a family friend and will make anything we ask. We are VERY budget conscious, yet want a more fun menu..

Here is what we have so far.. please. Suggest things we can do without, or cool things we can add!

My fiance and I are thinking of having our wedding in the Japanese Gardens at the Hotel Hershey. Has anyone had their wedding there? Or is planning a wedding there? We're in NJ, and would love to have it there, but are hesistant about how smoothly the planning would go. Thanks!

Eden Bridal Show last Oct?

Did anyone go to the bridal show at the Eden Resort last October? Just heard the date for this year and was wondering how it compares to the big show in January at the Lancaster Host (which I am planning on going to with my dd#2).

You know, cause I'm just thinking...are the same vendors going to be at both shows? If that is the case I don't know if it would be worth going to both shows.

Average Cost of Centerpieces??!!!

I'm having a September 2010 wedding. My center pieces are a bouquet of pink/fushia lilies and white and purple roses, they are coming out to about 30$ a centerpieces, that's just paying for flowers only. Is that a normal cost? I think it's a little expensive but i'm not familiar with flower prices?

Transportation Lancaster Area??

Ok, so I'm looking for a transportation service that is cheap. My wedding is going to be @ Lauxmont Farms...which is near Lancaster area. The only one we've really found was "Friendly Transportation" and for a 47-passenger bus it's $600 something. We only want to use it to transport guests from the hotel to the wedding/reception, and then back to the hotel afterwards...round trip it's like 45 mins at the most. (most people are staying at a hotel due to late night drinking!) Does anyone know of any others? I mean, I don't know much about it so maybe that is a cheap price... Thanks!

My wedding is over and I have a few leftovers that I'm looking to sell to my local knotties! I have 12 candlesticks I used for one of my centerpieces. They are wrought iron and crystal, I had my florist put a flower ring around the bottem and they turned out beautiful! Selling all 12 for $50.

Also for sale are 5 candy jars and 6 metal scoops. I don't have a picture, but if you are interested, I can get one. Selling all for $30.

Here I am 3 weeks away from my wedding and without shoes. Not of my own doing, but because the bridal store 1) ordered the wrong size the first time, 2) took almost 6 weeks to get the right size in, which were damaged and 3) would only give me 75% of my money back, and this was only because I pushed. Guess I should have looked at their BBB rating before I went there. But I digress... :)

Does anyone have any recommendations for places to buy off the rack shoes in the Lebanon, Lancaster, Reading or Harrisburg areas? Or websites that have quick delivery? Thanks so much!

This is just a last minute thing...we were going to have a friend video our ceremony, but in talking thought it might be worthwhile to hire someone. Not looking for a big production...can even be someone starting out. Any recommendations?
