Hi, My fiance and I are getting married on July 9th of this year. We were planning on getting married at the Maple Springs Pond Gazebo in South Park but because of his constant worrying about the weather I have agreed to try and find an indoor place for our ceremony and then weather permitting we are going to use the gazebo for our pictures. I'm not from around this area and have no clue where to even begin to look. Thanks in advance for everyone's help.

Good Morning! How much do you love coming home from work while its still light outside?? I felt like I had soo much more energy to get things done for whatever reason!

I think our dog felt the energy too because she was pretty nutso - but since it was light out I took her for a nice long walk, worked out and then folded and put away like 4-5 loads of laundry (yuck!).

DF was feeling the energy too .. he FINALLY got to work finishing the painting he was supposed to do in our laundry "room/closet" from the toilet incident we had in NOVEMBER. Anyways, productive night!

Hi Ladies,

I am obviously going to contact my doctor, but I know we have a few nurses on here, so I thought I'd reach out.

Ok, so I counted my weeks on my BC pills and just going as is I'd get my period the week of the wedding. :(

So, when I counted the weeks, if I took a two week hiatus this month, then I wouldn't have my pd until after the honeymoon (ideal). But, is this a bad idea? Is there a better way to do this? FWIW I take Kariva.

My cousin is coming home from Afghanistan SO SOON. He's been there since July/August 2010 and I just talked to my Aunt on FB and she said he'll be on US soil in the next week or two, but doesn't have an exact date. He's only 9 months older than me, so we basically grew up together.

What's the standard protocol for vendor seating? Do they sit with the guests or typically have their own seating area?

I'm in panic mode; I acknowledged them in the count as additional meals, but never considered their seating. Oy vey. Talk about stressed...

I am a newly engaged woman and am just starting to look at venues. I want something different and elegant. I am planning on having a smaller wedding, 75 people. I was wondering if anyone knew how much a wedding at Nemacolin would cost me. I have a feeling that its the most pricey venue but if I'm having a smaller wedding would it make a difference? I just wanted to know what some people had to say about it. Thanks for any help!!

Last weekend while my mom and I were in NYC, we found a really pretty bracelet from Swarovski that we bought for the wedding. Then we were in KOP later and saw another really pretty one that we thought would go well so we got that also. Now I'm super confused because I like them both - Here are the two bracelets with my earrings... which do you like best? which do you think goes best with the earrings?

Hi ladies. First off let me say Congrats on your recent wedding.

But the reason I am "paging" you is because I too am having my entire wedding at the 20th Century club and I would LOVE to see some of your photos.

And another thing...... my fiancee and I are signing the contract on Sunday with the 20th Century Club but we need some suggestions on what to negotiate. For example, the bar prices..... They updated their menu so now the prices are only by consumption. Did you have an open bar? And if so, (and you don't mind me asking) how much did your guests drink?

My mom set up our hotel block this weekend!: Omni it is! Can't wait! We are getting two big rooms for the bridal party to get ready in the day of as well and .......the best part............we're taking pics in the lobby!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Planning my Burgh wedding from NYC and was wondering where is the best place to get REASONABLE flower girl dresses. My fiance's nieces are our flower girls and their dad has been through quite a bit financially as of late. I'd like to keep them reasonable for that simple fact and b/c when will they wear them again (growing like weeds).

Good morning everyone!

How was everyone's weekend? I went back to my hometown in KY to help pick out bridesmaids dresses with my best friend (her wedding, not mine). The store had a 'champagne party' for her and her bridal party. However, when we got there, the lady who was assigned to help us told us point blank, "you need to hurry and pick out a color and dress you want because I have to get out of here to travel to see my daughter." Yep. She really said that. Then she proceeded to try and rush us, she stressed my best friend out completely, and she couldn't figure out which vendor was which and claimed she didn't have a catalogue for the vendor my best friend ended up picking out.

So yeah. I think me and another bridesmaid are going to call and complain today. Luckily we girls found things we liked, and because I kept on this lady the whole time we were there I made sure she ordered my dress correctly (it has a white sash on it to match my best friend's wedding gown since I'm MOH).

Thanks to everyone for the support this weekend! I have looked into several additional venues and gone to see two of them and I remembered very quickly why we had initially chose Edgewood Country Club for our venue. It has so much space both indoors and outdoors. So sticking with my original decision! Thank you again for being there!
