FI and I are going out to eat for my b-day tonight, and we have a Schwartz Brothers gift card and are considering Daniel's Broiler or Chandler's Crabhouse.

Where would you eat?:

Washington (Greater Seattle area) Outdoor Wedding Venues?

The suggestions from TK are somewhat lacking, and are mostly IN Seattle. As our ceremony will be in Federal Way, do you know of any closer outdoor venue options?

Also, how far is too far to ask guests to travel to a reception?

P.S. The whole renting a bus thing isn't really an option.

Hello fellow brides,

I am sure there are a ton of brides out there who have done their shopping for flourists in the area. Can you tell me which flourist came in first as far as cost goes? Just trying to narrow down my search, and of course cost is my number one issue. Not willing do to the Pikes Market route though.

I fell in love with the third venue I looked at. It's a park like setting in the middle of a local berry farm /field. Unfortunately, there was another bride with my date that had looked at it too, but was still undecided on if she wanted it or not.

The owner of the venue just called to say that since he hasn't heard back from the other girl, as far as he's concerned, it's mine! YAY!!!!

Feels good to get started... and to announce my first check. =)

If you are using one, how much do they generally charge?

I found this lady on Craigs list that is super cheap, and so on top of things. She's just starting out but I'm excited.

What the...? My wedding dress is supposedly stuck in Redmond because of a train derailment but no one seems to know what train derailed. Nothing on the news. Frustrating because my friend who will be alterting/adding to it, moves on Tuesday to Oregon. She will still be able to do it, but I wanted to try it on and make sure it fit okay and was "the one" (not available in local stored).

Thankfully the wedding is still 5 months away but...ARGH!!!!

So this morning started out fantistic. Got out of the house extra early, and the FI were able to stop at SBucks on our way to work and eat together. I had a bagel and a white chocolate mocha (something I have maybe 3 or 4 times a year, a huge indulengence for me) However, I don't believe the scanner I use approves. as this morning it has quit entirely on me, and I have to use the scanner upstairs. So far I have made 4 extra trips upstairs this morning. Which is good, those are extra steps and any moving is good. but I am so ashamed that even some machines are telling me loose some weight

Extensions?

I am considering getting extensions because I would really like my hair long for the wedding BUT currently my hair is just above my shoulders.

I'm just wondering if anyone has any fairly inexpensive ideas? The problem I'm running into is that in order for the hair to be stylable it has to be real!
