Hey all you married women, I was wondering how you came up with your timeline? Did it work? What did you wish you allowed more time for? What didn't need that much time? Do you have a sample of what your timeline looked like to share?

I'm at my 8 weeks mark and I'm thinking I should have an idea of what I want my timeline to look like. Any and all suggestions/advice are welcome! Thanks!

What should FI wear for e-session?

FI and I are having our e-session this week, and I'm trying to figure out what he should wear for our "nice/fancy" part.

I'm wearing this dress (nude/ tan with black polka dots) with a cream-ish colored cardigan that is cropped with short sleeves (to cover up the goods ):

The shirt FI wore in the pic has a tiny pattern, so I don't think he should wear that to the e-session (doesn't it do wacky things sometimes in photos?).

I'm thinking either a solid short-sleeved Polo shirt or a long-sleeved solid color button-up. If it's a l/s button-up, what color do you think? FI has black hair and hazel eyes, and is tan (at least compared to me!).

Also, should he wear khakis or black pants?

Invitations - Are They Worth It?

Okay, so yet another invitation question, but I'm torn so I need advice.

A couple of weeks ago, I was going to DIY my invitations because I loved the style. But now, I'm not sure I want to put the time into it. I was getting some fabric at JoAnn today and perused the wedding section and they seem to have some decent DIY printable kits. It's the first impression people will get of our wedding, but do I want to put a lot of work (and money) into some paper that people will probably just throw away? Here's the question:

been MIA stressing myself to death the last couple weeks... but i am alive woohoo! i survived my b-party saturday night and the Tualip Casino was AWESOME. super nice, and didnt have a problem with 10 girls in my room all night being loud, and our booth in the MPulse lounge was very nice, i know someone else was going there.... whoever it was.....you will love it! and we had nooooo problem meeting the $250 bar minimum we actually exceeded it. haha

although i survived im pretty crabby due to alcohol and lack of sleep....oh yea and the friend that decided to have some guy try and give me a lapdance, after telling her 10+ times over the last year that I absolutely didnt want that..........and then this guy yelled at me and said i was a boring bride...err... :( whatever~!

Review: Mascara! (long)

So it's kind of slow on the boards (and in real life for me) today, so I thought I'd post something that might be of interest whether you're having your make-up done or doing it yourself. Even if someone else does my make-up, I still like doing my own mascara. I wish I'd done more research last year because now I really like my lashes and wish they had looked better for the wedding.

I have super straight eyelashes that don't stay curled easily. I've used the Lancome Cils Booster XL for a long time now (maybe 6+ years?) after I had my make-up done there for fun once. It made my lashes look really full and now I see things like this in the drug store. More importantly, I noticed after using it for a few months that my eyelashes were actually healthier, longer and didn't fall out as much. I wouldn't say it would help you grow more lashes, just condition and protect the ones you grow naturally. I would just put some CoverGirl mascara over it.

Well, a couple years ago I realized I could do that in the morning and then if I was going to go out that night, I would re-curl my lashes and give them a second coat of mascara. This is a tricky situation. Mostly because even 8 hours later, the mascara was a little tacky and would stick to the curler as well as start to clump. I managed and that's what I did for my wedding, it worked ok.

Well, some of you know I have a couple YouTube make-up gurus I watch (Blair aka juicystar07, my favorite, and her sister Elle aka allthatglitters21). Well Elle did a thing talking about her favorite products and said that of any mascara (department store or drug store), L'oreal Telescopic was her favorite.

She was totally right. I still have to do my second curl and coat (my lashes are THAT stubborn), but it seriously looks like I have amazing lashes - not tacky/sticky the second time, no clumping, long and curly all night! I do use the Lancome because I think it adds some thickness and I swear it does something to keep them from getting brittle or whatever, but I've used the mascara straight and it looks great too.

Any reviews for Bluesmudge or EE videography? I know I've heard of those on here before but has anyone had good outcome...or maybe a sample video to share?

Well that groomsman who hasn't ordered his tux yet just bailed on Fi's Bach party! He literally didn't show up and was apart of splitting a big hotel bill and the stripper. Needless to say the other men were furious. I am really considering telling FI that he can't be in the wedding anymore. What a friend huh?

Got alot done today though! Fixed my dress (it was too long), organized and packed all WR things in labled boxes, and made a mock of our DIY alter. Getting exctied!

Edit: Day after FI's Bparty.....found out that FI has a BLACK EYE!!!!!!! And our wedding is next weekend! I'm going to freak!!

I am so incredibly happy about finding our venue. The coordinator is fantastic and I can't WAIT to start going over details with her!!!

She said that now that the venue is chosen (catering in house) and we dont need any rentals at all... everything will slowly ease into place..
and now that the date is moved back so we can save more money, our budget is bigger and in FALL (my favorite season), which also means new, better IMO, colors....... LOL..
man it seems like everything has changed. Im so excited though.

Bikini/Brazillan waxing recommendation?!

I'm thinking of getting a brazilian or bikini wax for my wedding. I wanted to do it at least once before I do it for the wedding. Does anyone know of any good places to recommend? I've had a bikini at the Euro Institute which is a school but they don't do deep bikini's or brazilian waxing. Thanks!

Dress Dilemma F/U

Part of the problem is that I don't really love the dress. It's pretty, but it's not how I pictured my dress, and doesn't feel right. My MOH and another bridesmaid were there, and they loved it on me. I think their excitement rubbed off on me, because the second (and third) time I tried it on I didn't feel the same way about it.

Thankfully.... the dress was less than half of what I originally budgeted for it. Soooo... I'm going dress shopping this weekend. By myself so that I won't be influenced by what other people think.

I finally feel calm about the whole situation, lol.
