Thanks to all you gals who gave me advice on my undergarment debacle! This was first time in the dress since Christmas, and it's more beautiful than I remember. My alterations person took one look at me in the dress with the undergarment and said I didn't need one. We put the dress back on sans undergarment (undies only).

The good news: WAY more comfortable. The bad? Nothing to "suck in" my midsection, so the dress feels much tighter. She told me she could let it out about 1/4 inch each side to give me a little breathing room, but we're going to wait till I go back on July 1st to see how we're doing then. I am going to try and drop some more pounds, but I know my body, and the LAST place I lose weight in from my midsection. Nothing to do but try though and hope for the best. Worst case is that I look great but can't sit down. HA! :) :)

I also discovered that since I have been growing my hair out, it now looks like way too much hair, so I will be pulling it up off my face instead of wearing it down. My something old are antique hair clips from my grandmother, which I also tried while I had the dress on to see how they matched and they looked great. So did my satin ballet slippers from Dessy, which I am considering embellishing now thanks to some of you DIY'ers on the board.

On to the next thing on my list!

Here's my dilemma: back in February I entered a drawing at a bridal show and won $50 off my bridal bouquet and 10% off my entire flower order for our wedding. My fiance and I went to the florist's shop, had a consult, and was emailed a quote 5-6 days later. Since then, we have been playing endless email tag with the florist either not responding or responding with a promise to get our revised quote to us within a few days - and then several weeks goes by and nothing.

I wasn't too concerned at first because the wedding was so far off, but now we're just under the 3 month mark and it's been 3 weeks since the last email that just said "we're busy, but you're not forgotten".

What I want to know is - first, is the deep discount we will be getting from this florist worth the poor service, or should I drop them and find someone else (who will be more pricey)? Second, is it typical that a florist wouldn't be able to get a revised quote so far off from the wedding date due to fluctuations in flower costs and availability?

Thoughts? Advice? Help!

We are getting married between two large trees looking over the lake. The guests will be sitting on hay bails. And I never pictured anything else to be there. No tables or anything. So now the dj will be at a table, Should I have a guest book table too?

...........also where are you or would you put the frames of prior family members weddings? On this guest table or at the cermony. What else would go on the guest book table? I was gonna put programs on the hay bails.
