If anyone is thinking about giving personalized drinkware as a gift, look somewhere other than Personalizationmall.com. I just ordered 22 oz steins for the groomsmen of my wedding, and 16 oz steins showed up. It was a big deal because I wanted the perfect stein to accommodate a bomber. Plus, I had already brewed each of them a special batch and bottled it in 22 oz bombers. Their web copy was just plain wrong. They told me they would look into it and would give me half off if I kept them. It wouldn't have been so bad if I would have felt like they cared, but they did their own 'testing' and changed their copy to 20 oz mugs, by filling them with water to the very brim.

Not only did I have a huge billing issue with them (that I won't even get into, but it was like pulling teeth to actually get the refund) but their 'customer service' was completely rude and condescending, telling me that if I knew how to pour that it wouldn't have a head at all and I could fit 20 oz of beer to the brim. Even though there is a clear line built into the mug for 16 oz, a normal pint.

Beware, my friends. These people have no interest in beer or customer service.

Poem or cute saying about love and candles

We are thinking about giving out candles as favors for our wedding this summer. We actually found a cute way to use these candles as place markers and favors, but I want to include a piece of paper with a poem or nice saying about love and candles/light.

Stemless wine glasses

I was just wondering if anyone else is thinking about getting these, or if you already got them what company did you go with and how did they look?

Personlized M&Ms quantity question

Roughly, I will have close to 200 guests at my reception. (I'm rounding high so I make sure I have enough!) But I'd like to do little bags of M&Ms because I love them and I want to do something personalized. I would just order the five pound bag and individual bag or box them myself. But how much should I put in a bag for each guest? I don't know how many of the 5lb bags I will need to get! Thanks! :)

so my fiance is irish/italian and I am norweigan/german. I've always wanted to have a norweigan wedding cake along with my actual wedding cake somewhere, and my fiance's mom said she really wanted there to be a spot for italian cookies. this made me think, since we were planning on having a candy station anyways, if instead of candy we just have a bunch of desserts that are traditionally served at weddings in countries of our respective nationalities. does this seem like a good idea?

Pint glass / mixing glass favors

I decided to give pint glasses as favors, and after an exahustive search of every place I could find, I thought I'd share my findings...

BargainMugs.com appears to have the best prices, but they do NOT. They charge $.75 a glass, but then gouge on their shipping. They are local to me, and would not let me pick them up - claiming that a person coming to their shipping dock would "interrupt their work flow" Um... UPS doesn't interrupt it, and neither would I. Quite frankly, they undercharge on the product so that people get drawn in, and then make everything back on by over charging the shipping.

I actually ended up going with Staples Promotional Products. staplespromotionalproducts.com The price per glass was more, the setup feeds were the same, but shipping for 200 pint glasses was less than $35. I also did a search online and found a 20% off coupon, so that sealed the deal!

And yes, they have our names on them, I really don't see the point of giving a favor that is generic.

I saw something I liked online at Dollar Tree, but they wanted $48 for a case of 48. I figured that I could go to the DT store to get one and see if we liked it, but guess what - they didn't have it or anything near it!

Personally, I don't need 48 of the same item for a centerpiece....

Hey guys! Someone please help me choose!

I am stuck between 2 favors.

I'm either going to go with the photo booth or a company that takes pictures and puts them on magnets during my wedding. Photo booths are really popular, but I haven't heard too much about this live magnet idea.

I am thinking of going with the photo booth, just because it's safer and more common, but I would love to have something unique!

We are looking to do personalized Koozies as our favor. I had 2 questions-

1. Has anyone done koozies and can recomend a good website to order from?
2. Also, we are thinking of putting them with the place cards, possibly putting a little bag of candy in the koozie and then attach the place card to the candy bag. Is that stupid? If so how should I give the koozies to everyone? I would like for the guys drinking from bottles or cans use them during the night.

I am looking for ideas for a favor/escort card. Background of our wedding- It is Oct 1, 2011 and the reception is at the place on the beach. I found cute flip flop luggage tags but they only come in blue and yellow and my colors are kelly green and peach. I researched on the internet but am unable to find customized flip flop luggage tags. I also saw silver luggage tags that I though I could put the couples name on it and their table and be used as an escort card/favor.

What do you think of my idea? Also does anyone know where i can get customized flip flop tags or anyone know where to get cute silver ones.

I've seen these all over the web for relatively cheap. We originally wanted to do a candy bar but once I started pricing it out, I was quite surprised by just how much it would cost. Indeed, it would be AWESOME -- but we're on a budget. Instead I thought about being these little containers with personalized M&M's or something along those lines.

Has anyone used these little containers? It says theyre 2 3/4 x 1 3/4 .... I'm trying to figure out how many M&Ms roughly would fit into each.

If no one has done this, no worries... Just trying to save myself the step of ordering a sample and investigating on my own ;)

The flower we chose for our wedding are orange and white daisies. It only made sense that we use this as out favor to our guests...

They do other types of flowers seeds as well. The seed package is not of the typical kind. As you may notice it thanks your guests on the front and has a little message for them on the back. I will placing the seed package in an orange evelope with a brown bow. Those two colors are our wedding colors.

This idea is fairly original and fun also. The world could use a little more bloom! Hope this can help somebody else as well.

when to give bridal party their shirts?

...I'd like to buy iron-on rhinestone transfers and make shirts for the maid of honor, flower girls, and both mothers... I may even make one for my FI's sister (Sister of the Groom)... kind of a touchy subject, but originally she was going to be a bridesmaid but now is just coming as a guest...but still helping picking out dress, etc...

...anyway...would it be weird to mail the shirts to each person (to the mothers, to the maid of honor, to the flower girls) prior to the wedding...? ...I think it'd be a cute surprise to get in the mail just before coming out for the wedding...but it's one more thing for them to remember/pack...and also...when are they supposed to wear these? *confused*

I've seen a lot of shirts out there...but if we're not doing a bachelorette party, when would these ladies wear their shirts?

Any chocolatiers or candy makers out there?

I'm making chocolate covered/dipped oreos for our wedding favors. I did a trial run with Merkens chocolate compound coatings, used an oreo mold and everything came out fab!

I have some prep questions for when it comes time to actually make all 300 of them:

1) When should I buy the chocolate coatings and how long does it keep?
2) If I start dipping 5 days prior to the wedding day the dipped oreos keep, right?

So my parents used to own mexican restaurants and we had a very famous salsa, the restaurants closed down and till this day family asks us for our salsa.
I was thinking about bottleing it up into cute little jars with ribbon and tags with a cute little saying. I asked my co workers what they thought and I got a few responses with "Thats real mexican... :/" Should I carry on with my idea? And if I do what are some cute sayings I can put on the tags?

I have the boxes and tags for my guest favors. I even have all the boxes put together, the only thing I am not sure of is what candy to put in the boxes. They are larger then I first thought, and I had planned to put heresy kisses with a saying on the tags. The only problem is now that I’m not sure if most people like plain kisses (my fi does, I prefer others, but some guests have nut allergies…), also if I used the kisses, I feel like I need to put something in the bottom of the box to make it look fuller/ nicer then just a box of chocolate.

Should I look into a different candy? Really not sure what to do here…

Does anyone know the shelf life of bubbles or if they will leak or the "bubbliness" will go away or if the color will change? I'm not sure if to proceed with the purchase or try my luck a later date. Matching favors to themed tables

Hi! My fiance and I came up with this idea that we totally love and we ran with it. We decided instead of table numbers we would name all the tables as places that we've been. That way we could add a picture of us at that place to each table to personalize it a bit. We then got the idea that we could match the favors to that specific location so that we could place people there that we know would use that favor. For example, college friends will be at the Mexico table with the favor as a bottle of tequilla, but Fiances parents will be at the Maine table with the favor as blueberry jam! Only problem is that we are stuck with a few places and I need ideas for favors. Does anyone have any ideas what we could do for the following: Citizens Bank Park (baseball themed), Bahamas (New Years Eve Cruise), Wildwood (Dance themed)... I'd love all your ideas and we are trying to keep each favor under $4. Thanks!

So, I am getting married in September. My wedding is pretty low key, as the ceremony and hall are in the same place. I wanted to do the lottery scratch off tickets or favors, but I just don't know how. I am having a buffet style, so guests choose their own seats...I am also having a few children (under 18) at the wedding. Anyone have ideas of how to hand out the cards to only the adults, and make sure everyone gets one? I am not going to hand them out one-by-one, so I need a better idea.
