I am beyond excited! Its about 2 sizes too big and wayy too long! I can't wait to get it in my size and see how great it looks!! It will also be the color of the dress hanging up in the back. Nervous about the length of the trai, but so in love with it!!

Ignore my stupid facial expressions, BUT after agonizing over the fact that I had to ultimately find a dress that didn't make me look like a 13 year old playing dress up.... I found the perfect dress! Very simple which is very me. I'm so excited and I made a deal with my mom that no one we know would see the dress before the wedding, so I'm showing you ladies!:) I don't know what kind it is at all..I am horrible with those things but I love it!

Hello knotties!

I said yes to the perfect dress back in August of 2015 (my wedding is June 3rd, 2016). I am so happy about it because it's everything I wanted - strapless, champage/off white color with shaping corset built in and a nice train. It has flower accents in the dress as well. I'm just having a bit of trouble deciding on a necklace.

I am looking to go with Rose Gold, since I believe it will flatter my dress, as well as the belt going with my dress. But, I can't pick between these choices!

So I just bought this dress on BHLDN and I had to order it online without seeing it first and was super nervous. But I love it! fits like a glove and perfect since I did not want anything fussy or long or princessy or anything I couldn't dance in. Plus only $500! Any shoe recommendations? I want heels I can dance in but other than that I am open to different colors/styles/options.

My fiance wants his older sister to have a part in the wedding but not as a bridesmaid (i already asked him). His idea is since he walked her down the aisle he wants her to walk him down the aisle. My question is what color dress should she wear? He thinks she should wear the same color as the bridal party, deep purple. I thinking she should not match but wear a color that compliments the bridal party like the mothers. And what should the fathers wear?

Hi!! So I bought my dress and fell in love with it. Its not the traditional white or ivory so I'm unsure of what colors will compliment my dress for my BMs and wedding colors. Its ivory, champagne and platinum color, the champagne though is a pink champagne so that is where I get conflicted on what colors would go good with it.

Wedding Color Trouble

So my wedding colors are marsala, smoke, and gold (Pinterest inspiration). I did not realize how hard it would be to find different items in the perfect marsala color. Has anyone else who chose marsala to be a part of their color pallet run into this issue? Where did you shop? (flowers, décor, bridesmaid dress, bowties, etc.)

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a comfortable pair of wedge shoes to wear at my wedding. I don't normally wear heels, so I think I'll be less wobbly, and more graceful, in wedges.

I'm not super fussy about color, but I'm having such a tough time finding what I'm looking for!!

Ideally I'd like a platform wedge, the heel height being somewhere around 2.5-3.5 inches. I'd prefer closed toe, but really not that picky.

My friend says I *must* get leather sole, because it's more flexible and I can break it in, whereas synthetic sole can be painful on the day... but every shoe I look at has synthetic sole!!

I've heard Ivanka Trump, Steve Madden, and Jessica Simpson are comfortable. I've looked at DSW, Town Shoes, The Shoe Company, Aldo, Naturalizer... the list goes on.

I just want to be: 1. comfortable 2. feel at least a little elegant (otherwise I'd get sneakers). 3. Not spend over $150 if possible.

Anyone have suggestions or advice?

Because I bought a dress today AND I did cry, just a little. I think it was more that I found a dress that felt like me and made me feel pretty than it was that I had a "this is the one" moment.

This shop and consultant were really fantastic too. And while the dress I found was at the top at my budget I tried on a bunch that were half the price. Obviously it can only get better with a proper size and alterations but I'm excited nonetheless.

Forgive my my hair and photography. My sis and her 8 month old are here for the weekend so there's not much time for styling or photo shoots.

Size exchange at David's

I think I want to exchange my dress for one more size up. I fit, technically, but I think I'd be more comfortable in a bit bigger. However, the hook from the "hook and eye" part of the bodice popped off because my mom left it hooked the last time we tried it on. David's will exchange unaltered dresses. The way I see it, my options are:

Sew the hook back on and don't say anything to David's, could potentially get called out.
Tell David's what happened and hope they are okay with it.
Don't exchange it and just wear the size I have.
Buy the dress again in a bigger size, try to sell the one I have. (Oh Jesus.)

What are your thoughts?

Bustles!! Please Help!

I am going for my alterations appointment this weekend and I wanted to get some opinions on which bustle would look best with my dress. I wish I didn't need to bustle but I don't want anyone stepping on my dress. And unfortunately I am extremely clumsy and don't want to fall on my face while trying to dance.

We're getting married in Vegas sept 26, and plan to lose weight before so I decided to go with a infinity dress(henkaa) so I don’t have to worry about sizing! I want to wear it over one shoulder. I am larger in the chest. Just wondering if anyone has pictures of them or their bridesmaids with the dress like this, and how the back looked? Also wondering about bras. has anyone ever used one of adhesive bras without the side, just the one that sticks to the boob?

Hi everyone! I'm getting married June 3rd this year. I have had my dress picked and ordered fall of last year already (I kind of planned super early, lol!). It's a strapless dress, champagne colored, and has a light pattern all throughout it, like a lace over the fabric (I don't have any pictures at the moment). I'm looking to make my "something blue" my shoes. For the reception, my mom bought me a pair of flat converse sneakers in navy blue (because who cares about my shoes for the reception?) but I am looking for some blue heels/shoes for my ceremony. Any recommended places to find inexpensive shoes? I also am having a hard time finding the right amount of jewelry for the dress. If it has any relation, my flowers are sunflowers with smaller white and pale yellow accents. Any suggestions would be great, thank you!

Female groomsmen

My fiance is having his sister as a groomsmen. The problem I am having is what to have her wear. The groomsmen are wearing Navy Blue jeans, cowboy hats, white button up shirt, and boots. They will have a matching tie/vest to the color of bridesmaids dresses which are all different colors. (We have 4 on each side so 4 different colors) What do I do for my fiance sister?

I just made an appointment for my BM's to try on dresses and when I called I asked what their most affordable line of dresses is so I can look at them online first and she said Jasmine B2. I found some dresses that I think everyone will like (just trying to have ideas before we get there) and I can't find the prices online anywhere. Does anyone know what the average price is? Wedding Dress Drama

Hello, I am in a current situation that I need advice and figured I'd ask the community. My wedding's in October and I just found my dream dress on eBay. I didn't even bid, just bought at their asking price and was floating on cloud nine for a week. After receiving no response from the seller I reached out. Nothing. I sent two more emails over the next three days, still with no response. I then reached out to eBay who was extremely unhelpful and pretty much told me I had to submit a claim, wait another 4-7 days and if still no response, they will take action.

This dress was discontinued over 3 years ago and is pretty much impossible to find; especially in my size. Has anyone else had this happen to them or can you provide some advice on what to do? I'm devastated right now thinking I might not be wearing my dream dress on my wedding day. Any suggestions, help or support is immensely appreciated. Thanks!

FI wants to change colors

HELP !

FI and his GM's went suit shopping this week. Our theme is black and white, going for chic elegant. Girls dresses are black, floor length. Guys suits are to be black, and all the decor is black and white except for a tad of greenery to liven it up.

All the plans are laid out when suddenly.... he now wants to go with blue suits... What do I do?
Don't get me wrong, blue suits can be sharp as heck, but I just don't see it fitting with the theme. I've tried picturing it and it's just clashing in my mind.

Any suggestions on how I can make this work or how to convince him otherwise... He has all the guys on his side and my only trump card is that I'm helping to pay for the suits (which I don't want to be a b**** and shove it in their faces, but this is a bit upsetting).

Clashing colors?

Hi,

I have not bought my wedding dress so this is basically preemptive. I plan on having a dusty shale, beige, gold color scheme at my wedding. Gold being not tacky but elegant (which I am sure everyone says). So looking at wedding dresses the ones that have "bling" on them tend to all be silver setting for the most part. Again I haven't bought my dress for this to be a true concern but more so I know my mother sees me in a dress with some "bling" and I do too so I am anticipating that I have a large chance of that occurring. Now I really wanted to wear gold jewelry, shoes and hair piece to go along with the gold accents at the venue and jewelry/belts my bridesmaids and MOH will be wearing. What are your thoughts....does it clash or look horrible? Have other people worn gold jewelry when their dress has silvery bling on it and have pictures?
