Im still really unsure but Ive seen some really nice photos of the brdesmaids wearing corsages instead of holding bouquets. I feel I would still hold a small bouquet when I walk down. Since it's a brunch wedding I feel like it actually fits better what does everyone think??

I haven't tried on any dress yet, a little too soon for me, but I have been looking on-line. I have huge boobs (36E) and I'm worried I will have a hard time finding a dress. I love the strapless look, but wearing a strapless bra is nearly impossible, they don't hold for shit! I know they have halters and ones with straps, but even a lot of those require a strapless bra!

Any ladies out there with the same problems? If you already found a dress, what kind of cut was it?

Ok, so was with my MIL and MOH earlier, had to visit David's Bridal to pick up a sash for MOH's dress. Saw the Oleg Cassini 621 and MIL wanted to see it on me.

I love my current dress. It's amazing. But, this dress? WANT!!!!!!!!! Like how did I miss this before type want. Got all three of us crying. Got Grandma over - who wore the original dress first. She loves the new dress.

I have a week to decide. Cost isn't a huge issue, I can afford the dress. Doesn't need major alterations, shorten the straps a bit and put in clear snaps for my bra. Length couldn't be more perfect. Fit is spot on if the straps are shorter - literally, perfect everywhere in a 14 which shocked me. But fit and flare works on me.

Pardon my stupid pose, I was trying to not cry. That's a 12 in ivory, I didn't get a picture in white as that was an awful color but that was the 14 of fit perfection.

I fell in love with my dress on my first trip out shopping. I love how unique it is. Then my bridesmaids bought me a double headband I was eyeing. Then, I found a veil I liked and took my family with me to try the whole ensemble on. The veil has a decorative edge. My dress has floral detailing. I read that this is an accessorizing "don't" BUT The colors match perfectly, and everyone SAW me in the whole getup. Everyone loved it. I'm not a big accessorizing person.... I'm so worried about all the pieces I'm pulling together...

So my first fitting is June 26th and I'm worried I'm behind the ball on what to wear under my dress. It's strapless and corset top, so I was thinking about getting cups sewn into the dress. I don't have a huge chest but it's not tiny (roughly a 36C) so I don't know if having cups sewn in would work for me? I've never found a strapless bra that I liked and the last thing I want to be doing all day is pulling it back up.

I was just briefly looking around online for bridal undergarments - what do most people recommend in general?

I went dress shopping yesterday. It was completely different than I thought it would be. I thought it would be fun and I would be wowed! But I wasn't really comfortable during my appointment. I am not a girly girl and I don't enjoy shopping. What I had in mind was completely different than what looked good on me. I went to my first appointment yesterday with my mom and my aunt. My mom is paying for my dress. We started at a small boutique. I never really felt like anything struck me as the perfect dress. I tried on about 20 different dresses and was ready to leave, but my aunt pulled one more to try on. I liked how it looked on me, but I never cried or felt overjoyed. I was ready to be done and I felt pressured to buy the dress. I am overwhelmed that maybe I didn't choose the right dress because I didn't get "that feeling". I cried last night and I have been up all night thinking about it. I feel like I shouldn't have bought the dress, but all sales are final. I am having a hard time deciding how I feel. I like the dress and the way it looks on me but I am not in love with it. Maybe it's my personality. I need some advice so I can stop fretting about the dress. Please help!

My best friend is getting married this weekend an I don't know what to wear. It's going to be a very cold day too.
We always promised to be each other's bridesmaid when the time came, she wearing blue and me wearing pink. Late last year she was my maid of honour in blue as I promised. Now she is getting married, but because of some major family dramas and "tradition" on the grooms side, I can't be bridesmaid anymore and we are both a bit upset about it. She has already got 2 bridesmaids wearing baby pink tea dresses so I can't wear anything too similar, but she wants me to wear pink still.
I have this jacket which I really love, I just can't think what to wear with it. The wedding is very traditional so nothing too flashy and must be knee length or longer. I'm pear shaped so pencil skirts do not suit me at all, trust me on that. I do have a large collection of heels and boots in most styles.

man, i really wish i had not ordered through them! i was nervous since the girls couldn't try on dresses before buying them but i did get to go see the dresses i wanted in real life at a macys. however, macys was quite a bit more money per dress. so after writing down all the style numbers i set up my showroom for girls to start ordering. it states that once all orders have been placed that the dresses will be made. 3 girls ordered in january, the other 3 in february. however, they accidentally put the ones from january into production. i called them and they put those dresses on hold until the rest of the party ordered.
fast forward, 3 girls get their dresses...all the february girls...the other girls wait a bit... then finally my maid of honor calls to check the status of her dress in late april/early may. well, looks like they just never made the 3 dresses ordered in january!!
after a lot of calls and complaints, they gave the girls a discount but the dresses wouldn't come until june 13th. (my wedding is july 5). and there were 3 girls missing dresses, they weren't very good at communicating as to what was going on unless you contacted them directly. they certainly were not proactive! if my MOH hadn't called, the probably would have just never noticed the dresses were never made.
june 13 rolls around.....nope no dresses were delivered despite being guaranteed. they said the dresses got in too late and after the UPS shipment left on friday. however, UPS has saturday delivery. they couldn't apparently be bothered to spring the extra for that.
so they say the girls will get their dresses tomorrow. i really hope so since there is 17 days until my wedding, the day before of which is a holiday and everything is closed.
i dont know if this happens often but i would never order through them again. everyone kinda just seemed clueless as to what was happening. while they were very nice, it was just a very stressful experience. i would have rather gone through another company to order the dresses, someone who at least i know was reliable.
so just beware! you may think 7 months is enough time to place an order for a dress but at this point, i would do it way before that if you do order through them!

I was reading reviews on Yelp about there alterations depart and it's the scariest thing I've ever read. Brides' crying at their alterations?! Scared me enough to make me not want to get my alterations done there. Does anyone have a suggestion for alterations within the 5 boroughs? Queens, Brooklyn or Long Island is preferred but will take anything you got! : ) Hope everyone is doing well in their planning!

I'm just trying to get an idea of how it looks on a plus size bride? I've been searching high and low for dresses online and just fell in love with this one, but I'm not sure if it will be flattering on a full-figured bride like myself.

So on a whim I decided to go to David's bridal today since I saw they were discontinuing a lot of dresses that I had wanted to at least try on. I wasn't expecting much I had looked at a couple of dresses before and liked one that I thought may be "the dress", but I found it the real one!! Not only did I get it for a rediculous price but it was meant to be, only size available fit me like a glove in the color I wanted! Waiting to get the pics from a friend but here is the dress from the website http://img.davidsbridal.com/s7viewers/dhtml/genericZoomMobile.html?serverUrl=http://s7d1.scene7.com/is/image/&asset=DavidsBridalInc/dbi_f13_swg579_ad.psd.xml?layer=2&op_colorize2=E6DDC6

Also as a bonus I had recently lost a little bit of weight so I thought well maybe I can squeeze into a size twelve, nope but the size ten fit perfect!

Edited for typos

So I feel like I literally stole this dress! I went to David's Bridal alone on a whim today I and fell in love. It was 1,028.00 at the store, but I didn't buy it because I wanted my mom and bridal party to see me in it too. It's tulle and a ball gown, both of which I said I hated before but somehow the wedding dress gods knew what was meant to be! I got home earlier today and called my mom and we prepared to go see it later next week. I was so excited about it, that of course went straight to the DB website to gawk over MY dress again but lo and behold...it was on sale for...wait for it...299.00!!! Say what?? Shut yo mouth!! There is also free shipping on orders over 150.00 until Monday I think, and I found a coupon code on retailmenot for 10% off of that!! So I paid around 240.00 plus tax for a dress that would have cost me over 4x as much in the store. I was very well prepared to pay the retail price so now you can see why I feel like I stole it! I will point out that the ivory and white are full price, but the blush/ivory and champagne/ivory are the ones on sale. But those were the ones I was eyeing anyway.

Ok, so about the dress. It's WHITE by Vera Wang style number VW351007. I bought the champagne color and I plan to add a belt, and maybe even add sequins to the second layer of tulle. I was loving a David Tutera dress (Isobel) that had sequins under the tulle, It added just a little bling but kept it very classy. Our venue is rustic and this dress fits perfect. So the moral of this story is if you fall in love with a DB dress, check the website before purchasing...you may be pleasantly surprised!

I have asked my girls to do something like the below for my wedding. A few of my girls are having trouble finding something and most of them have questions. I want to put together a list of links to send out to my girls so they can choose dresses from the links instead of having to search far and wide for the look I am going for.
