I live in Canton and we both really want a outdoor wedding. This is our second wedding so we are not looking for a huge to-do but want it nice and special for about 50-70 people with people coming from out town. Mostly looking for a ceremony Site. PLEASE HELP!!!!

So we have pretty much decided on having our wedding at my mother and stepfathers house they have a huge yard and such is wisconsin so its beatiful of course. My colors are pink and yellow so my only issue is how the heck do i decorate???? we hae a clear yard a few pine trees, my mothers house but we wont be having the dance and all there its kinda hilly and im so scared its goign to rain or something! but my main issue liek i said how do i decorate???

I heard you can rent a house, for your guests to stay at & the homes also have a place for an outdoor ceremony/reception. If so, can you provide details I have done some searches on the internet but came up empty handed.

This may sound like a very silly question, but Iam in no way a crafty woman! I wanted to decorate my head table with white and pink tule (sp?). What should I use to keep the tule on the table? Clips? I am so lost with this! This also goes for our arch. What do I use to keep the tule on the arch? do they make special "wedding clips/pins?" thanks for your help!!

Our reception will be outside of a beautiful cabin but in the middle of the reception area is a large built in stone fire pit. It is beautiful but I do not want to have a fire at my wedding and it is a large hole to fill!!! any suggestions on how to decorate?

Hi all! My fiance and I are hoping/planning for a Sept. 2012 wedding. We both want something out of the ordinary and customized for us for our ceremony and reception/dance. I had my heart set on The Enchanted Barn www.theenchantedbarn.com - from looking at the website and it seems like the perfect venue. It is a little out of the way (about 3 hours from us) but all of our family would be traveling in some way or another and it would be a weekend affair if we held it there --- anyways, I CANNOT get ahold of the guy! I have been trying once or twice a week for 2-3 weeks with no calls back! I've left messages and nothing. I don't know what to do... I think my next option is to hold everything at our home in the country but the idea of everything there scares me! Any ideas on how to get ahold of the owner of the Enchanted Barn? Thanks gals!!

Pink & Green Outdoor Wedding

First off. let me start off saying that the recent posts were from my little sister who thinks she is in charge of my wedding and that she's the one getting married. LOL
Anyways,
We are still having the wedding on June 21, 2014. We decided to plan it so early because the next few years are going to be very hectic. So why not get all the planning done now, and then book everything and set it in stone the year before the wedding. We are planning on a garden wedding or a beach wedding. We are thinking about pink, green, and ivory being our color scheme. What colors have you done for a beach or garden wedding?

I don't know what it's really called..but when the bride walks down the aisle..there's like the 'surprise' the brides here! type feeling, you know? In a church or indoor place there is usually a room or a wall or something for the bride to be behind until it's her time to walk. BUT for an outdoor wedding...how do you accomplish this? We go to check out our ceremony location (local park) this weekend..and i'm hoping there's a tree line or something that my bridesmaids and I can be behind while waiting for the ceremony to start.

What are you ladies doing?

Hi everyone! I need your opinion!! I am getting married at a winery. Ceremony and reception are outside, in August. I first thought that I wanted black table cloths with white napkins (our colors are black, white, and fuschia). Now that I think about it, I feel like maybe black is a little too much for an outdoor summery wedding. I am leaning towards white.

Woould you be taken back if you went to an outside summery wedding with black table cloths?

Hay Bale Seating

Barn with rock floor

I am wanting to have my reception in one of my barns at my house. The floor is just plain rock becuase we store equipment in there normally. We had thought of just putting plywood down to cover the rock, but I was wondering if anyone had any better ideas or had seen something that would look better to cover the rocks and make it easier and safier for people to walk on.

So we have been planning a destination beach wedding at an all inclusive in Jamaica for almost nine months. We fly out Tuesday and get married Thursday, and just realized there is a 70-100% chance of rain EVERY day, and a 90% chance of strong storms on thursday, our wedding day! I'm truly freaking out- I don't want the beach wedding I planned moved indoors, and I don't want to spend thousands of dollars on a honeymoon where we are stuck indoors, bored and depressed because of the weather. Has anyone had weather problems for the ceremony, or on a honeymoon in Jamaica? Montego Bay is where we are going.

So I am having my wedding next May and was planning on doing the ceremony at sunset. Where I live it should be around 8:40pm. I want to have the ceremony then because my family is providing a fireworks show as a gift for us. I thought it might be nice to have something going on that day to keep out of town guests occupied and to be honest I need to keep some of the groomsmen sober. I am worried that if I do something too early no one will stay for the fireworks though. Any ideas of ways to keep guests entertained the day of and how to keep them at the reception long enough for food and fireworks?
