Do you think a solo violinist would be enough for an outdoor ceremony? Or should we go with a duet or more?  Of course, I'm already reaching the upper limits of my budget....

I need opinions. So far, wedding planning has been an absolute nightmare, from budget cuts to dresses out of stock etc.... However, I think I found a venue that will fit very nicely in our new budget.

THIS IS MY ISSUE

Is it tacky to have a wedding at a park? It is beautiful, has a river, trees, tons of grass and flowers. I will be bringing in a pole tent, a dance floors, tables, etc. It does have a playground on one side and some relics. Is that weird or better because the kids will have something to do? I am also a bit worried that random people will be coming in and out since it is a a nice park and will be during the summer. Also, no indoor places at all. Just the tent.

Am I worrying to much or will these things be problems?

I didn't post here a ton, but I loved looking at other outdoor weddings while I was planning.  Our photographer blogged some photos of our "backyard" (it was actually the entire length of MIL's property) wedding that I thought you might enjoy. 

We did end up having a bit of rain, but fortunately were able to get a last minute tent.  Despite the rain, we still had a great time, as evidenced by the goofy grin plastered across my face the whole time.  Anyway, hope you like them-I am just amazed at how everything turned out.  I'm also happy to answer any questions as well :-) 

My ceremony is going to be outdoors in a field in countryside Vermont.  I am wondering if we need a microphone or not.  We are having around 80 guests and they will all be standing. The ceremony will be about 15-20 minutes long.  We would like to not have a mic, but obviously we want people to hear us. Does anyone have any advice or experience with this? Any help is greatly appreciated :)

Our 3 year anniversary is actually next Wednesday (April 13th).  (I bought him tickets to see Sugarland...he is going to flip when he finds out!  I am so bad at keeping surprises a secret and have been dying to give him the tickets, luckily only another week to wait!)  We have known each other since the teenage years and there was always something between us.  When I graduated college and moved back home we reconnected, and it has been incredible since day one!  We have two little dogs, Tanner and Tobey.

Now on to the good stuff!  We are getting married on June 29th, 2012 in NH.  Our colors are the DB clover green with bright pink accents.  We are having an outdoor ceremony and a tented reception, and I absolutely cannot wait.  I love everything about planning so far; it seems that every day I try to find at least one wedding idea/task I can work on.  I can't get enough!  I love any ideas and input that people have!  I am hoping to do lots of DIY and budget-saving things for the wedding.  

Anyway, sorry for not introducing myself earlier.  I hope to get to know everyone on here and share ideas!  :)
