We are doing our wedding at Ocean Place in Long Branch, NJ on Saturday, August 2. Was wondering if anyone out there is doing a wedding around that time and would be interested in sharing decor items. I read about this idea in one of the magazines, and thought it was worth asking. Our reception will be outside on the patio, so I am thinking of going fairly simple. Maybe some assorted vases with candles/sand/shells in and around for centerpieces? They seem to have some nautical items for the buffet tables (we are going with the clambake menu). I don't really have any must haves on my decor list, and am very open to other thoughts or ideas.

This rich purple (called Grape) full length bridesmaid dress by Alfred Angelo has an empire cut. Style 7166 features a sweetheart neckline, POCKETS!!, and an overall easy to wear design (by far the most comfortable and flattering bridesmaid dress I've worn!). Optional spaghetti straps are included for versatility. It is a size 14. The top had to be taken in under the arms, but nothing was cut off when altering in case someone down the line needed it taken back out (it was just stiched in from the original seam, but the new seam can easily be taken out without any harm or notice). It is a pretty easy dress to alter to make smaller and/or shorter. Although this dress was worn for a wedding, there are no snags or stains on the outside...it looks like brand new!! I am looking for the Alfred Angelo "Snow White" veil (from the Disney Princess collection). I tried it on at the dress shop with my dress (which is AA's Rapunzel gown) and thought it was a great complement to the dress.

Only problem -- it was $350!
