Major points:

Jax tracks down Tara before she can make the deal.  She accepts that he's going to kill her.  He says he's not.  She pleads with him to own up to his shit and he agrees to make a deal to save her and the club with Patterson.  Tara and Jax reconnect and make-up.  He spends time with the boys and the club before turning himself in.  It's very sweet and heart-wrenching.

In the meantime, Gemma and Nero break-up.  Gemma goes home to soothe her soul with booze and mary jane.  Unser puts a bug in fucked-up Gemma's ear that Jax is going down because Tara ratted.  Gemma goes to Jax and Tara's house to clean or whatever.  Tara shows up with Roosevelt, who's guarding her/the hosue/Jax until Jax turns himself in.  Roosevelt leaves the house (to stand guard outside).  Tara finds Gemma, a struggle ensues.  Gemma kills Tara by drowning her in the sink and STABBING HER IN THE HEAD with a carving fork.  Juice shows up, they hear the struggle in the house and go in, Roosevelt tells Gemma that Jax made the deal to save Tara and club, Juice kills him to protect Gemma and gets Gemma the hell out of there.

Other highlights:

*Mexicans are pissed that Jax made the gun deal with the blacks.  The off a bunch of them during a deal.
*Nero joins the Mayan and Byz Lats on a deal with the Chinese to take down the club and Pope Insdustries and get the gun-running business
*Jax finds out from Nero that Juice ratted and tells Juice that he's a marked man
*Jax turns over the club to Bobby Elvis (Pres) and Chibs (VP) with his pending jail time looming

In the last scene, Jax comes home to find dead Tara (and Roosevelt).  He's cradling Tara's body and crying (howling) when Patterson shows up to haul him in.

I cried and cried and cried. And then cried some more.  I swore to not watch the next season in that moment because I LOVE Tara (and Maggie Siff), but I'll probably relent.  I've been with the show this long...I guess I should finish it.
