Do I wear my previously purchased dress or buy new?

I was previously engaged for 4 years and 5 months away from being married before things starting airing out and I left. Needless to say I had my dress and I absolutely love it! I am now engaged to an amazing, honest man and he says it doesn't bother him if I wear the same dress but I don't know if I can do that. Wear a dress that was meant to be for something else.. I am battling with this dilemma and just unsure what to do. It would save us money but again idk if my mind will be right to wear it. Am I just overreacting?

If you still love the dress, then I don't see an issue with wearing the dress.

love the dress if you still love it wear it but if it still brings back bad memories and you cant seem to get that out of your head go on http://www.preownedweddingdresses.com and sell your dress look up the designer and style name of your dress to see what it is going for.

you would be surprised at the number of brides on here that are looking for older designer styles that they can no longer find and because your dress was never worn you can sell it for a little bit more. you could use that money to buy a new dress

How does your FI feel? I feel like my H wouldn't love the idea, but if yours is on board, go for it. You could always sell it and use that money.

If you still love it and FI is okay with it, wear it. Your dress is a garment and nothing more.
