Is it odd/ weird to have a wedding without bridesmaid, groomsmen, maid of honor, and best man?

Is it odd/ weird to have a wedding without bridesmaid and groomsmen?  This is both our second marriage and my fiancee wants a simple wedding.

Nope, not weird at all. We didn't have a wedding party either because we wanted a simple wedding and didn't want to stress out about choosing people.

You can have as many or as little (even zero) people in your bridal party as you want. You can have uneven sides, you can have both genders on either side... whatever you wish. 

We had 13 people all together in ours, but no ring bearer or flower girl.

I thought that it was common to have bridesmaid and groomsmen, but since it our second marriage im thinking its not necessary to have them.
