So I met this really nice guy yesterday and she is about the same age of my mom and single. Would it be strange to set my mom up on date? *update* (sorry paragraphs don't work on my iPad) I talked to my mom about it and she agreed to meet this guy. They are going to meet for lunch this weekend.

    If your Mom is in the dating market and she is open to it then no I don't think it would be weird.

    I still have to feel the guy out to see if he is interested in dating someone. My mom is a bit difficult. She hasn't really dated since my dad died, like she has only been on three or four dates and it has been 19 years. My sister and I kind of think she has been holding back on dating because she doesn't want to hurt us but honestly it is beyond time for her to get back out there.
