Mother of Bride Dress Color

I am trying to find out what color the mothers dresses should be. The bridal party is wearing sea foam green and the men are wearing silver/gray suits.  Should they be in the same color or silver?

They should wear whatever color they want. I do know a lot of moms have no desire to be in the same color dress as the wedding party. My mom wanted to wear a color that matched our color scheme (purple BM dresses, lime green and gold accents), so she went with a shade of blue/green, which is a color that looks great on her skin. My husband's mother didn't want to match the bridal party or my mom, so chose sapphire blue, which is a beautiful color on her. They both asked me for my opinions on what they should wear, BUT, did not need to, and I told them to wear what they were most comfortable in. 

If they WANT to match the bridal party, ask what color they like more/feel is more complementary, silver/grey or seafoam. My mother would never wear silver, she's a warm tones and gold kind of woman.

Parents are not in the wedding party (unless they ARE, and then already know what color to wear), so they can wear whatever color they want. They do not need to coordinate with anyone else's attire.

Parents are guests and as guests they can wear whatever they want. They do not need to match or coordinate with the wedding party. Unless your Mom or your FMIL ask you specifically for your input then don't say anything about their attire.

Another vote to let the moms wear whatever color and style they feel most beautiful in.  There's no reason for them to coordinate with the bridal party.  They're not party of the bridal party nor will they be in photos with them.
