Plus-sized wedding dresses?

Does anyone know of bridal shops in Wisconsin (besides David's Bridal) that actually have plus-sized dresses to try on?  I have been to several (Eva's in Oak Creek had limited seleciton, Savvy Bride has NONE) and nearly 100% have been size 8-10.  I'm just having a hard time thinking about putting money down on a dress I've only seen in a magazine without knowing how it will look on me.Thanks in advance for any suggestions you may have!!

Amelishan Bridal in Hubertus has quite a few (amelishan.com).  Kay's Bridal on North Ave and 72nd St in Tosa has some, too.  Those are the only 2 I've been to so far, but I tried on a number of dresses at each. What size are you talking about when you say plus size?  I wear an 18 misses and was able to get into size 10 dresses well enough to at least get an idea (with the help of clips).

David's Bridal usually has a decent selection of sizes.  Even if you don't buy your dress there, it might help you figure out what styles look best on you.

I was a plus-sized bride and was getting very discouraged until I was thumbing through one of those Bridal Guide magazines and they had a list of dress shops in Wisconsin and it noted what they were known for or carry.  I ended up going to Vera's House of Bridals in Madison and it was amazing.  My dress was the second dress she brought out.  I drove from Oak Creek to Madison with my mom and one of my bridesmaids and when we got there I was disappointed because they only had about 30 dresses on the floor, none of which were what I was looking for.  The lady I worked with told me to pick one of those dresses that best fit my style.  I couldn't find one so we sat in the dressing room and talked for a bit, she asked a lot of questions and walked out of the room.  Come to find out they have 3 floors worth of dresses in the back.  My dress was the second dress she brought out.  They were really great to work with, for example, I wasn't a veil kind of girl and I knew I wanted something funky to wear in my hair.  I found a company online and they worked with Vera's to bring in some samples for me to try out.  I would definitely try them out!

Oh, I forgot to mention that they have plenty of plus-size dresses to try on!  I didn't have to try to get into an 8 or 10 and imagine what it would look like!
