I saw that you are in the same exact boat as me, planning a wedding in Milwaukee while living in Chicago, and I was wondering how you went about doing your engagement pictures?  Is the same person that did your e-pics doing your wedding photos or did you hire someone separately?

    Hey MLC, I am going with blackdog studios in Milwaukee. I found that Milwaukee based photographers were more affordable. That being said, I think he did just raise his rates. I have been very happy so far. We just had to pay a $250 travel fee for two photographers to travel to Chicago, which is where we had our engagement pics takend. (The engagement pics were included in the package)I would also recommend Spottswood Photography, they were booked but there work is awesome as well and they are willing to travel.Personally, I wanted the same photographer for both so that you can use the engagement session to get to know your photographer and it is also a good validation of the work you will be getting on the wedding day.If there is anything I can do to help please let me know.
