Officiants in the Madison area

Hi,We are getting married 7/4/2010 (a Sunday) in an outdoor ceremony in Madison. Does anyone have any recommendations for an officiant that can incorporate some religious traditions as well as some nonreligious elements into the ceremony? Thanks!!

I used my MIL's minister from Unity of Madison.  He is also a good friend of theirs.  I was looking for the same things you were in a ceremony/officiant and he was great.  Let me know if you'd like his contact info.  I think he might be willing to do a Sunday ceremony as long as it is after his church services, but you'd have to ask.

I am interested in the same thing. If you wouldn't mind passing along that contact info, I would really appreciate it!  :)

Reverend Joan Pape was absolutely amazing.  I could not have been more happy and we got TONS of compliments on the ceremony.  It was well written and personalized to us and our situation (you fill out a worksheet about your relationship and she incorporates those ideas in the ceremony).  She's willing to be as religious or non-religious as you would like.  http://www.ceremoniesbydesign.com/

His name is Marshall Norman.  He can be reached at marshall at unityofmadison dot org.  Good luck!  He and his wife are great and very laid back people.
