Engagement Pictures at JCPenney's

I think we are going to get our engagement pictures done at JCPenney's a year before the wedding. We have never had any professional pictures done before, and we are having a destination wedding just the two of us. Our budget is pretty limited, and we are having a destination wedding and really focusing on pictures and video graphy there. Has anyone done this and been happy with their photos?

My nieces had pictures taken there and I think they turned out very well.

I saw a Groupon for JCPenny's yesterday if you decide to go this route.

I think we are going to go ahead and just go to JCPenneys. It is likely the most affordable. Thanks I will have to check out the groupon. I think we are going to go May 15 2014, a year before our wedding.

We weren't interested in spending money on engagement pics, so we took our own, right after he proposed actually so that made it pretty special to us. I had my DSLR and tripod with me so we put it on a timer and took some pictures. That said, photography is a hobby for me and I know what I'm doing somewhat, both with photography and photoshop. That could be another option if you or a friend has some equipment. But JCPenney sounds like a good idea, too.
