In all the drama from BIL and SIL's wedding on Friday, I forgot to tell you all the hiLARious part.

So, BIl and SIL are up there in front of the MDJ, doing the ceremony.

The MDJ says, 'What token do you give as a symbol of your commitment?'

BIL looks at him blankly.

SIL hisses 'The ring! The ring! He's asking for the ring!'

BIL says, 'Token? That thing was damn expensive!'

I thought it was awesome, I really did. It was so very much 'them.' BIL is very literal, so the irony of 'token' was totally lost on him. 

DH also cracked up. It was a nice break between the drama of whose fault the pregnancy was (pre-ceremony) and whether nephew is still a bastard (post-ceremony).
