Spring Wedding 250 people, no banquet feel!

Hi!  I am planning a Spring wedding (May) for 2011.  I have looked at a few locations but wonder if there are more.  What is everyone's feel on Lakefront Brewery?  How about Cuvee?  We are looking for something that isn't outrageously expensive, will accommodate 250 max, and doesn't have the banquet feel.

    I went to a reception at the Lakefront Brewery (I think it was called something Gardens though) and I liked it. I don't remember a lot about it, but I do believe it was not carpeted, so in that regard it wasn't a banquet-y feel. If I could afford it, Lakefront Brewery would be my top choice.

    Lakefront Brewery is good....I think Cuvee might be a bit small for you...Maybe look into Joey Buona's?

    What would you consider Outrageously Expensive?  What is your price range? before or with food?

    I am worried Lakefront might be a little noisy?? Any insight?  I am also looking at the South Shore Pavilion?

    Over $2500 for the space seems a little pricey to me.  Thanks for your help everyone!
