Best month for outdoor wedding?

Oh Wisconsin, how mother nature teases us! I found a gorgeous venue to hold an outdoor ceremony/wedding...what do you think is the safest month?

I'd say September.  Summer (June-August) is too hot and I don't enjoy dripping sweat in my heels & nice dress as a guest.  May might be too cold/rainy.

Either way, I'm avoiding an outdoor wedding because I just dont think it is a good idea in Wisconsin, personally!

I voted for Sept but that is when I got married. BIL got married in the beginning of Aug and it was super hot! Guest just wanted water the whole time, well during the ceremony.

I am going to be in a July wedding in 2013, and am a little worried that it will be super hot but in Wisconsin you never know!

I'd vote for either June or September... but remember no matter when you choose the weather is upredictable and you need to have a back-up plan in case of rain/cold/extreme heat/wind/wild fires/etc.

I got married on Ocotber 16th.  In 2009 it snowed on that day.  In 2010 is was 70 and sunny.

<div>One of my friend's cousins got married in October 2010 and it was 90 degrees on her wedding day! They had rented heaters and everything for the tent and obviously did not need them ;)</div><div>
</div><div>I voted September but I do like the idea of October, too. It's still unpredictable, but it's rare (usually) that it gets TOO hot, and if it's too cold, I think outdoor weddings with heaters have a really unique feel and love the idea of that.</div><div>
</div><div>In the end, it really doesn't matter...just have a game plan for anything that could happen. This year it took forever to get warm, and I think the evenings got really cold even in June, if I remember correctly.</div>

We chose June 15 for our outdoor wedding and are crossing our fingers that the day will be nice and sunny with a little breeze, though we are quite aware of Wisconsin's iffy weather patterns so we made sure that the venue had an indoor ceremony area as well just in case! If you're wary of inclement weather, make sure they can accomodate an indoor ceremony (for just in case) and you like it just as much, and you should be fine.

It depends where you are located.  If you are in off of the lake, June is a good option.

Otherwise, September or early October.  Early October can be beautiful with some of the leaves starting to change.
