Birdcage or Veil

Hello Ladies! I have another birdcage vs veil question. I've always wanted to wear a birdcage and not a veil. The older women assisting me with the wedding insists on me wearing a veil. I was actually thinking of making a "shimmery" birdcage with chiffon material to match the dress..What do you think?

    What about wearing a veil for the ceremony and a birdcage for the party? I satisfied my mom by wearing ivory beaded shoes for the ceremony and then purple fun ones for the reception. And btw your dress is gorgeous!

    If you want to wear a birdcage veil then go for it.  I think a birdcage would go fine with that dress.
