Yay for out of the box bridesmaid dresses!

We finally got around to bridesmaid shopping this past weekend. I knew it was going to be tricky because my 2 girls are complete opposite sizes (a 0 and an 18). We went to the appointment at David's first and it was a disaster- there were 100 girls in there literally elbowing us and shoving us, my girls had to share a dressing room. All the dresses were so cheesy, cheap, flimsy, poorly made especially for the $150 price tags. We said screw this place and went to the mall. Tried on some great ones at Macy's but were getting a little discouraged when they didn't come in both the girls' sizes. Finally on the way out we found this gem that was absolutely 100% what I was looking for!!! So cute, such better quality, they will definitely wear it again to work, and only $70! Win!!

    Oooh, cute!! I also love polka dots, and I've been looking for a good polka dot dress for the spring/summer.

    Eva's dress line at NY&Co is adorable. I've been searching and praying for the past year in hopes she'd come out with something in my color palette for my BMs, but no such luck. I'm glad it worked for you. 

    I'm a huge sucker for nontraditional BM dresses. I agree with you about the selection at DB --- ew. So glad you ditched that Popsicle stand and found this beauty!

    @elcab I might be wrong, but I think you did the post with the burgundy floral dresses from Macy's? I had them try those and I really loved them but they were not sold on it. They kept saying "we're not going to work dude" I was like fiiiiiiine but I loved it LOL

    Yup, that was me. They came in at the end of last week and my girls tried them on. They look amazing!

    Oh yea, also the girl at David's was like here fill out this paper so we can put you in the system. I filled out my first name and handed it back. She's like you skipped everything (address, email, phone). I said yea I don't want your spam mail. She's like oh, we don't do that. I said "Really? because since I made this appointment online 2 days ago I've gotten 3 spam emails." She was like um ok, and took my paper and walked away.

    How cute!

    We had an equally awful experience bridesmaid dress shopping at David's on Saturday. Since they don't have to worry about matching, they've all decided to go elsewhere for dresses and pick them out on their own. Although we did get some great laughs about particularly horrible fits and colors!

    I just want to try on dresses, damn you. Why must you make this harder than it is?

    I went to go look at flower girl dresses there. "Fill this out so a consultant can help you!" No. I don't need help. I'm looking at these two dresses in person with this color sash. Go away. You can't help.

    So cute! David's bridal always upsets me. I sometimes feel like it's the wal-mart of bridal stores.

    I have bought 2 bridesmaid dresses from there and countless shopping trips for my friends who were looking for their gown, and it's just....ugh.
