In between cake tastings, florists appointments, and hair/make-up trials, my Mom and I tooled around the Flathead Valley a bit. Hands down, the best "discovery" we stumbled upon was the St. Ignatius Mission. I had know idea something so beautiful was hidden in the sleepy little town of about 800 people on the Flathead Indian Reservation. So much history (...although I was sad to learn of it's traumatic past when researching it on the drive home).
Anyway, the church made me think of you,
@HisGirlFriday13, and your upcoming tour of the South. No doubt you'll be discovering such beauty tenfold!
