FI and FBIL just got here with the last two boxes! We are officially moved into the new house!!!

Now all we need to do is unpack and organize everything...

    Woohoo.

    My parents have moved 30 times or so.  One piece of advice they give is just unpack.  DO NOT PUT IT OFF.  The thought of unpacking the boxes is way worse than the actual action of unpacking.  

    My rule is 80-90% of the boxes need to be unpacked by the end of the first weekend we are there. (assuming you have the weekend off.)






    What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

    We do have the weekend off. We're going to get as much unpacked this weekend as possible. We've been slowly moving in for a week so we've unpacked all the absolutely necessary things as we go.

    @CMGragain yes we are still talking. Actually we didn't fight much which in and of itself is a miracle.

    I hate moving with my fiance...well I hate moving in general. I want to get movers SO BAD when we buy a house ....he says no.... :(

    Fi and I have already decided we are not moving until we can afford full-service movers.  Seriously.  After about 5 moves in a year and a half, we are done with moving.  We'll stay in this apartment another two years if we have to!
