Trying to find my dream dress for re-sale! Justin Alexander 8465

First Anniversary

I am getting married June 2015, and tried this dress on and FELL IN LOVE with it. I never would have thought to try it but the woman and my bff wanted me to. Problem is, it's WAY over my budget. But I HAVE to have it. I have been watching all the pre-owned sites like a hawk but figured I would post here if anyone might have one they are thinking of selling. The 8 fit me perfectly but I would take a 10 and have it altered. I do not want the coffee shade, just the white/ivory. If anyone can help that would be awesome!

Thanks!

  • I'd take a look at vintage bridal shops.  The tea length dress was very "in" for proms and weddings in the 1950s-1960s.  You may not find this dress within your budget, but you will find others
  • I highly recmmend Dolly Couture for short dresses. I visited their NYC showroom. They are all custom t your size. The stock designs are around $595 and modifications are very inexpensive. Obviously they wouldnt be able to copy this dress because then they'd be pirating, but I bet they could make something that feels that way. They were very helpful!
