I am 8 hours away from FI and we only see each other every few months.  We're going to Cancun in 5 weeks; then, I won't see him again until mid-September.  Just realizing that, unless something unexpected comes up, the next time we'll be together after that is.....the wedding!

We did long distance until about 3 months before our wedding as well. We were only 2 hrs away but it was still really tough. We only had about 48 hours on the weekends and because I was in grad school I had to study while he was there a lot too. Glad that is over!

FI and I have been 2-3 hours apart for the entirety of our two year relationship and only have weekends together. We'll be moving on together the month that we get married. Can't wait for it to be over!

On the flip side of that, my FI spent the first year of our relationship with each other virtually 24/7....literally. We lived together, worked together, EVERYTHING ...it was intense to say the least.

We basically did the same thing. We both work from home so it happened quickly. We're happier now that I have an office a few days a week!
