Which dress should I wear for an evening/formal wedding. Men do not have to be in black tie.

I like C the best. Would be gorgeous with an updo and some fab colored shoes. I generally hate that shape of ruffles on A, don't know why. B looks more informal/clubby. Will you have a lot of opportunities to wear a full-length dress again?

I'm assuming the host actually put "black tie optional" on the invitations? Sorry, that was rude of them. Black tie optional is clearly not a real thing since it doesn't make it any easier to choose an outfit!

I like C the best too. I think you will get the most wear out of it. Its not too dressy but dressy enough to feel awesome in. You can easily wear that out for dinner or girls night!

Can you see through the sides of C? If so, I don't think it's very classy and more for going to a club. If it's not see though then I like C and then E.

B might be too casual depending on what type of accessories you wear with it. A is nice but depending on your body shape, like if you are wider in the hips, the ruffles may not be flattering. I personally like C because with the right shoes & accessories it's a classy sexy look and with the knee length you could wear that dress again for a night out or another wedding.
