Who else is into fashion?

Does anybody else follow fashion blogs?  I'm looking for a few new ones to add to my morning coffee routine.

I love all things fashion, even if I don't have the budget right now to really go all out.  I like to look put-together but just a little trendy: I've recently jumped on the soft-pant bandwagon and I love it!  But I'm passing up the ubiquitous hipster/normcore/90s trend happening right now.  This is the first time time I've been old enough to actually wear the trend the first time, and I just have no desire for jelly sandals, crew neck sweatshirts, and overalls again.

Anyway, here are a few of my favorite fashion websites in case anybody else out there is looking for ideas, too!

For serious, upscale business fashion: Corporette
For fun articles and NYC trends: Refinery29
Other fashion blogs I love:
SeeJane (She just gave birth so I'm loving her posts on how to dress her new body)
GabiFresh because obviously.  I love her style, she has this great feminine flair.
I Love Maegan: this is a newer find, but I like it so far.  She has a variety of topics and her style seems preppy with a bohemian twist.

  • Love it! I can't offer any new blogs for you, but at least I can answer you title post question: I am (into fashion)!

Huge fan of Already Pretty. I've taken advantage of a few of her Insomniac Sales Picks--definitely great buys.

  • I want to be into fashion. I do. But I am not stylish, and almost 10 years as a reporter (read: crappy pay and no dress codes) means I spent my 20s dressing in jeans and cute tops. Maybe.

Thanks for this post! I'm going to add these blogs to my daily routine.

This girl I went to high school with has one: http://www.thelifestyledblog.com I have no idea how great it is, but the layout looks pretty nice, and she's not a bad writer.

    Edit: typos
  • I don't follow a lot of blogs but I do love fashion. I post a lot of selfies on my personal journal to inspire my plus-size friends who think they can't be cute. I like to try to prove them wrong.

@Inkdancer I'm a middle-sized girl, but I really like plus-sized blogs.  I find my body is much more similar to a plus-sized blogger than a stick thin model-sized blogger anyway.  The plus girls are often more creative and interesting with their outfits.  Hence my undying love of Gabi Fresh!

I'm in between plus and average sizes, so often I'm buying average sizes (L and XL, 12 or 14) but I pay a lot of attention to plus size bloggers to get fashion ideas.

  • I like fashion but since my job doesn't require me to be in anything spectacular (I won't lie, I was eying that dinosaur dress on mod cloth and use my job as an excuse to wear it).

My favorite blog to keep up on is http://refashionista.net.  Jillian refashions things and it amazes me because I don't have the patience or talent for it like she does.

  • OMG I just found the best women's fashion parody site.  All you empowered lady-folk out there will enjoy this.

  • I'm old school - I still read my InStyle every month. I'm going to have to check out these blogs.
  • I'm so not, and I need to just accept it.  Went to Macy's a couple of weekends ago, while in SF.  Looked for 30 min and couldn't find anything I could get into.  Then went up 1 more floor and emerged into a pile of Nike and Under Armour and suddenly found a bazillion things to try on.  I just need to accept that I always wear workout stuff and I love it and I will never enjoy shopping and fashion.  It's kinda sad though, cos I wish I had style

I used to be, but I live in a really remote area with no shopping and I was working with horses so I had no money and was dirty all the time. I'm moving in under two weeks though, so I just got rid of a ton of clothes and want to update myself on what's cool these days so I'll take a look at these! ETA: wow I REALLY like Gabi Fresh even though I'm not plus sized.

  • Ooh, fashion blogs!

My all-time favorite is tomandlorenzo.com. Go there immediately! They specialize in celebrity/red carpet fashion (and originally started off as a recap blog for Project Runway). They are side-splittingly funny and snarky, but keep it classy and have a strict policy of mocking the clothes, never the person's body, which I find very refreshing. They have a nice community in the comments, too, which hardly ever seems to happen (except here).

Check out the Man Repeller, too. She's very witty (and sometimes even over my head) but ostensibly it's her personal style blog. She's weird and silly and doesn't take fashion too seriously, although she does have a seemingly encyclopedic knowledge of it.

Has anybody said Fashionista.com yet? It often has more business-oriented stories and news items, but it also has suggestions and trends, which are fun.

Thanks for starting this thread, now I have a whole new list to check out!
