This could be the best Thursday evar

The ILs took all 3 kids home with them after the game last night (we won, btw!  we're in the championship game saturday!  AND son hit another homerun last night!) and will bring them home at 5:00 so DD1 has time to get ready for her game this evening.

Now, usually when the kids spend the night, they come home early the next day for one reason or another, but a whole day alone?!!?  This never happens.  Plus DH's summer busyness is in full effect so he won't be home before 2 or 3.

I'm thinking of taking myself to breakfast, shopping and getting a pedicure.

I really don't mean to sound like "yay no kids" but with as busy as we have been, I'm going to seriously enjoy my alone time.

Any parent gets the "yay no kids"  and wanting alone time in their own space.  Anyone that shares space with someone or something gets it.  Some days I don't even want the cat next to me.
