I can't figure out my colors! Help!

We are having a NYE wedding. The location will have some Christmas decoration but I really want to downplay those. My flowers are magnolia so cream/ivory is one of my colors. The other is black (I need a good neutral). I am thinking to add in gold and SOME other color. Purple, berry, light green? Ideas, suggestions?

Why not just leave your colors cream, black and gold?  Simple, classic, and very NYE.

I think cream, black, and gold are nice choices. 

I used to be all panicky about choosing my wedding colors because I just couldn't decide. Then, one day, I realized they're just colors and picked two I liked (eggplant and sunflower). Somewhere during wedding planning the BMs ended up with mutlicolor dresses & we ended up choosing multicolor centerpieces. Now we have no official colors and I don't care because everything is going to look fantastically bright and beautiful!

This drove me nuts in the beginning as well. I have since picked colors (but we will see what actually happens). From what you described I think Maggie's suggestion is perfect - cream, black, and gold would be so chic & fabulous for NYE. If you're set on adding a color, check out theperfectpalette.com - there are a ton of color palettes there that could help you get some ideas or just explore options. This helped me when I was set on adding one more color. Good luck

GOLD!! Or, my fave....Gilver....gold and silver. I have a gilver christmas tree every year.

Agreed with PP.  Cream, black, and gold look amazing together and are perfect for NYE.

I agree I think black, cream and gold would look great!  If you didn't want as yellow of a colour as gold, a champagne would like nice! (I guess that is kind of more silver gold like mentioned above
