OTT Shower

So FMIL refuses to tell me anything about the shower being held for us this coming Saturday, but when she drinks she talks. Last night she revealed that her friend who is doing the flowers asked to come 4 hours early to get them done, because "2 hours is not enough". She also let it slip that they've hired a photographer. Is it just me, or does that seem way OTT for a shower? At this point I'm almost worried they're going to show up the wedding.

    Unless this happens, it's probably not too OTT.

    In all seriousness though, even if it is OTT, just try to assume the best and figure FMIL is excited for you.  And be very grateful!
