Veil with hair piece?

I will be wearing a veil for my ceremony but taking it off after pictures and before the reception. My question is would it look funny if I had my hair half up with a hair piece at the back and have a veil on??

I've seen pictures of brides with their hair all the way up with a hair piece and veil and it looked nice, I just can't picture what it would be like with it half up.

Depends on what the hair piece looks like. Can you give us a picture or idea  at least - comb, fascinator, headband, etc.?

I think many fascinators would look like overkill with a veil, but a simple jeweled comb with a veil would look fine.
