NER : Sending a photo with STD's?

Well I ordered my save the dates before I ever knew we'd get E-pics. I got business card magnet STD's from vista print with a design instead of our picture. I only paid $13 but I still really like them and want to use them, don't want to order new ones. Plus I wanted to send mine out mid-late August because of all the OOT guests so I don't feel like waiting for new ones to come in the mail.

We did get E-Pics and I do actually like them a lot. Would it be silly to send a photo along with the STD? It's not part of the STD. Do you think people will throw them away? Will they be too AWish?

Maybe just send the photo to family.

If you were my family or really close friend, I would keep it. If not, I'd throw it away.

I would think it was out of place and AW if it wasn't a sibling or parent.

Do you have a wedding website? If so, you could upload a photo there so people could see it.

Unless you were my daughter or my sister that photo would end up in the trash.  Sorry, even close friends I really don't care to keep an actual photograph of.  What would I do with it?  I certainly wouldn't frame a picture of my friend and her FI and put it out on display.  That would just be weird to me.

If it were a family member or close friend, I'd use the STD magnet to display the picture on the fridge. After the wedding, I'd put the photo in a frame or album.

If it were a random friend or someone I'm not close with, I'd probably think, "That's a nice/cute picture," and then toss it.

Oh no I didn't really expect people to frame it, I just thought they might put it on the fridge with the STD magnet like @wrigleyville said. I'll just skip them and put them on the website!

I get a random photo every year at Christmas of my neighbors.  Just a photo of the couple, not even of their kids, shoved into a generic Christmas card that they sign.  Why they think I want a photo of them, I will never understand.  It's not even a photo card with their name, the year, and a cheesy christmas decoration frame around it.  Send your E pics to your parents and grandparents, but not the majority of your guests.

I tend to be in the minority on this subject, but I LOVE getting photos either with the invitation or STD.  Every invitation I've received either had a wedding with it or, if an STD had been sent prior, the STD had a photo on it. I love them and put them on my fridge.
