Looking for an affordable DJ for my reception for about 6 hours. Light music during dinner, able to make announcements etc. of wedding party, and then party music to DANCE DANCE DANCE!

I'm going with Double Platinum DJs.  They have good reviews and I thought their prices were reasonable and were for the whole day if needed.

i am also going with double platinum, and i strongly recommend them! i actually hired them to DJ a work event, which was great to have a trial run. bill is amazing! their lighting is incredible, and the prices.... totally reasonable!

We are using Midwest Sound.  They are great.  2 of my fiance's brothers used them and 4 of our friends in the past 3 1/2 years.  A couple wedding had the same DJ, but all 3 of the different DJ's were great, knew when to switch things up, get different people out there dancing.  All of the brides in those weddings said they were extremely easy to work with.
They had a deal at the bridal show I was at for $695.  I think there regular 6 hours rate is $795 or $895.

We're using Midwest Sound.  They have been great to work with so far and threw in a couple extras for us no charge too.  Can't wait to dance the night away!
