XP: Dreams or Secrets Punta Cana

Has anyone stayed at either of these resorts? We are considering them for our HM and would love some input besides that which we've found via Trip Advisor. Thanks!

I haven't yet, but we're going to Secrets Punta Cana!  We'll be there in a month  One reason we really liked them is their partnership with the Now Larimar resort next to them, where you can eat at their restaurants as well as the ones at Secrets.

I haven't but we are going to Secrets Maroma (in the Riviera Maya) for our HM. The Secrets resorts look so luxurious and our travel agent confirmed that we picked a good resort. Supposedly Secrets has more of a low-key, romantic vibe and they really cater to you. I think they are owned by the same management company but if I remember correctly, Dreams allows families and children and Secrets is adults-only.

We went to Secrets Punta Cana for our HM last October. We loved that they were adults-only, and that we had the option to go to NOW Larimar for dinner if we wanted to. The grounds were beautiful, the staff was friendly, and H and I actually really enjoyed the food.

The beach was stunning, and we never had a problem finding chairs. The beach-side drink service was also great.

I've been to Secrets for a friend's wedding and it was wonderful! We had a wonderful time. I just remember thinking it was so so clean. Like I got up early one morning and there was a guy in the pool, cleaning it in scuba gear!
