So last week I applied for a pretty substantial personal loan in order consolidate Our credit card debt. I signed into the online account this morning to check the status and the application status and the "application status" says it's not approved yet and is being reviewed. However when I click on the loan summary tab it gives the amount requested, says approved then gives the rate, loan term and monthly payment.
So I called to find out what this meant and the representative told me that is isn't approved yet and hasn't been looked at by an underwriter yet. I then asked what the info on the loan summary tab we as all about and she said that she didn't know bc she has never actually used the online system or had never seen it. so I said thank you and hung up frustrated bc I'm really hoping this gets approved to make our finances a little more manageable. Any ideas? Anyone ever experience anything like this?
I may just be impatient but I felt those huge sense of relief when I saw the "approved" now I'm being told it's still in process.
