Knotties, I was hoping you could keep a family friend in your thoughts and/or prayers, today. He is my husband's family friend, and recently, has become mine. He was the DJ at our wedding, and is a really genuine and sweet guy. He was at the hospital, last night, where they told him they found a really large mass in his left lung. I know he must be terrified because DH's mom, who was practically a mom to him, passed away of lung cancer. I know it is terrifying to hear the word mass, but I am sure it makes it a little scarier being close to someone who heard the same news and didn't make it. Do you think it is too soon to make him some food? I was thinking manicotti or tomatillo roasted chicken enchiladas (if he prefers spice). Would cheese be bad for someone in his condition? Thank you, ladies, for lending an ear.
