Escort card...i need help with ideas!

My wedding is at an apple orchard in a barn..originally i was going to do mason jars with a tag of for the escort cards but our venue is actually providing mason jars as the drinking glasses so idw to confuse people with a glass the venue owns and a glass for them to take home...so i was thinking of doing some sort of apple themed escort cards...any ideas!

I did find pear shaped escort card holders on the knot shop but nothing apple yet =(

It sounds like you want to attach your favors to your escort cards. Here are some ideas:

pretend this one says "apple butter" (not pomegranate jelly)

pretend these are caramel apple truffles:

  • What about using apples themselves for the escort cards??

  • Michaels sells candles in votive glasses, I think they come in packs of 12 and are not very expensive. I bought clear labels and printed names and table numbers on them and added some ribbon.  When people got to their tables, there were matches to light the candles and they became part of the decor.
  • Little apple juices or apple ciders?? Maybe with a take home mug?
  • Orrrrr.... 1.individually wrapped apple shaped cookies, 2. Apple ornament, 3. Apple tree seedlings to plant, 4. Apple magnets , 5. Apple pie recipe card or other yummy apple-recipe
  • We went to a wedding at a venue that was in a "barn." Their escort cards/favors were little jars of apple butter they got off of etsy. It was cute, but it sat on my counter for awhile before I trashed it.

Apple shaped cookies would be cute! I'd eat them right away.

I agree with this point.  I am leery of any homemade jarred favors, like jam, honey etc.  I only consume items jarred in a professional facility.  Too much chance for contamination IMO.  I like the ideas of apples, or caramel apples, maybe mini individually packaged apple pies?
