Is gold jewelry possible with this dress?

My theme is gold, and my MOH is wearing a champagne/gold dress beside me. In person, the dress doesn't read as silver necessarily but also not gold like I'd originally wanted. I think I'd like to accessorize with drop earrings and a hair piece - or even a hair chain.  Should I be sticking with straight rhinestones or can I add some gold jewelry in?

I almost bought that dress and I think gold would look lovely with it, or rose gold.

I don't see any reason why gold wouldn't look good with that dress or with your MOH's champagne colored dress.  I say, go for it.

As long as it's not a huge statement piece all in gold, I think it will look fine.
