Dress dilemma...HALP MEEEE!

Dress regret finally got the better of me. Even after meeting with a seamstress to see what she could do with my dress, I decided it was better (and less expensive) to just look for a new dress. So I ordered two from BHLDN and I really like both of them. I'm not getting all the feels like, OMG IT'S THE DRESS but I'm happy enough with both of them that I'm having trouble picking one.

So...I'm hoping you ladies can help me decide, since you all seem to have impeccable taste. Here are my options:

If I go with this lacy one, I'll get a different sash...this was just the only one I had around.

(Also please excuse the poor quality of my photography...I couldn't get my tripod at a good angle. But hey, at least it hides the giant cold sore on my lip. You're welcome.)

So...thoughts please?

Well, you are beautiful, and they both look good on you, but I vote for dress one.

But that might be because I don't like clothes touching my neck, so I have this automatic personal aversion to dress two.

Basically, my advice is invalid and don't listen to me

ETA: Did you ever decide to change your venue?

I'm in the minority here and think that #1 would look fabulous with a new sash. I might also be in the same boat as lurkergirl in that I don't like clothes covering my entire chest like that. It feels too "night-gowny" to me. So ditto also that my advice might be invalid. haha

D'awww thanks @lurkergirl! And no...I popped a midol, remembered why I want all my friends and family at the wedding, and got over the urge to elope. Glad everyone was here to talk me down!

Aw, that place is so cute!

We had friends get married at the old courthouse in Decatur with the reception at Paris on Ponce (kinda weird/kinda cool). So many cool places tucked away in that part of town!

I LOVE THEM BOTH.

However, I'm gonna go with the majority and say #2 is getting a weensy bit more love. I think it's the flowy skirt - I love flowy. Also LOVE the neckline. Gorgeous.

I agree with lady goldfish (lurked too) that the original dress is also beautiful. From these 2 I would go with number 2.

2 flatters your shape better. If you don't like the high neck, could you add a bit of volume under dress 1 with a small petticoat? Dress 1 is very lovely but it hides your waist and hips.

I think a bolder sash might help to accentuate the waist as well.
